well it would be a start...MTL is better then nothing for some. I always thought the problem is though that its very hard to implement the translated lines into those japanese games.. but nvm, actually I have no clue

MTL can be quite good with DeepL imho
Just sometimes when it does not know how to translate something, it puts out a random sentence (they repeat, so after a while you can spot them).

Why has following tags been disabled? I wanna follow precious NTR and Cheating 
Thank goodness for threads like this which helps make finding ntr games possible without the ability to follow the tags now.

My main gripe is searching by ntr tag is pretty much useless, since just a weird look from a female character towards any male other than MC has people screeching ntr. So you have games with like 0,0001% ntr tagged as such.

More specifically, there's netori (you cucking others), netorare (you not permitting cucking), and netorase (you give permission for cucking).
With this many permutation, "ntr" as a tag is just bad. We also have cheating. It's messy. Is there an admin we can ask to change the tagging system of f95zone?

The tags will only be changed again once the new forum software is fully running, so right now there's nothing that could be done.
One major issue with the NTR tag in general is, that it's one of the few tags that's used and applied by two different groups of users.
Once for and by those who like and want to see NTR in their game and as such expect a given amount of it and on the other hands from and for people who don't even want a hint of NTR in the game they play and use the tag to actively avoid these games.
I'm not sure that problem will ever really be solved.
The problem will be solved when they add separately the 3 or 4 types of ntr

I know everyone wants multiple NTR tags for netorare/ase/ori but I say just have two, one for people that love NTR to apply and one for people that hate NTR to apply. Because then I will know that all the hate NTR games aren't worth my fucking time and are literally just that there is more than 1 male on the planet, babies.
Hmmmm.... no. There's a huge difference between netorase and ntr, netorase cant even get me hard for example.
This is so fucking true oh my lord. So many permutations of NTR (netorare to netorase to netori to the MC being a cheater) with very distinct differences between each of them. They really should split 'ntr' into three different tags so that people actually get what they search for.

No I agree, tags for all of them would be best. I was mainly just joking about how I check the NTR tag only to face 90% disappointment because some cry babies saw another male character in the background.

Its p obvious what type it is if you look at comments/synopsis. No need for 30 tags.
I absolutely don't think so. Only a very small percentage of people want to invest a lot of time while searching for new games and most dont even go to the comment sections. And also many synopsises are very short in order not spoil too much. They rarely give you insights over the genre.
We should provide all tools necessary to help people find what they search for in a short and simple way, without beeing triggered. Otherwise triggered people will start discussions or hatespeeches about a genre in the comment sections afterwards. And in the end we are all here for special porn. Porn games with many different kinks and fetishes. And we all know that kinks and fetishs are very individual and subjective and people are very, and I mean very sensitive about it.
imo adding more precise tags would help a lot to dispers polarization happening around here, cause people would rather find what they are searching for and not confuse e.g. netori with netorare (two very opposite genres, with almost the same name). Also genre tags are simple tools and are fast to read. Its something the majority of people uses.

On the other hand it wont stop some few stupid people who cant think for themselves and who dont even look at the genre tags (even if there is -->NETORARE<-- written on the title and on the banner) from starting a game they dont want to play. But you will always have such peripheral extremes. There is nuthin u can do about them. But at least help the majority of players.

Well the thing that could help is weighted tags. People can rate tags in a game according to how prevalent the tag is in such game.
This issue is not really with ntr games only. Some people enjoy pregnancy games, but a lot of games have the tag just because of a single CG in one of the endings etc. While other games are the opposite, with almost every scene pregnant. The 3 most asked questions I see asked in threads is "how much ntr is there" "is the pregnancy ending only" and "how many scenes are there with the trans char". Comment section in games with these 3 tags are usually 1/5 of questions about this lol.
I think vndb does this already? Do not really use the site so much so not sure.
Sure it would not be 100% accurate, but I think the hardcore ntr games would stand out if searched for that way.

It'd be so much better if there was a short description about what content there is for each tag in the OP rather than having to search and dig through comments to find out.

While we may look for systemic changes and platform updates, nothing beats good old research. Reading through the thread and reviews is the best way to see if a title suits your needs.
Unfortunately, depending on others to do the work to make your life easier rarely, if ever, works. More unfortunately, the new titles will not really have much to content to research either.
Having said that, having more granularity in tags will surely help. Another way could be to have the "genre" be divided into primary, secondary and "also included", to determine the primary focus of the game.
