Im guessing this is sarcasm, but for me, in order to not get stuck in the rut of ntr rabbit hole, I also play vanilla, harem, management hgames , and female corruption (Like Karyn's Prison) when I have the time. Ofc, that goes without saying I also play normal games too.

It's just about trying to balance it with other things. Because as we all know, too much of anything, is mostly bad.

Well I hope that our comments help shed some light about ntr people in this thread. We are not those people that you think.That we love getting cucked like most people percieves.

One more thing: NTR is not 1 to 1 in Cuckoldry. NTR is more complex and has different categories as well.
Here's the main ones:

Netorare - MC gets cucked by the Bull via the player's decision or game's narrative. You control the MC or the Heroine in this type of games.

Netori - You are the MC. You get to steal the ladies from someone.

Netorase - You are the mc , and you choose to get cucked. Not for everyone, including me. Though there is a game called Adelaide's Inn where it's perfectly excecuted for my taste.

NTR, NTS and NTI are a type of very fine wine that requires time, understanding and strong tolerance to handle and/or like. Almost everyone who handles one or more of these Fetishes have different opinions, ideas, thoughts, interests and so on.

happened to me irl twice (two diff women). so guess why im here.
though I still don't want it to happen to my next one.

my kick is hard to describe. I like the sense of 'unfair'. things like 'I haven't even.. but they/he..'. even as small as seeing her body, seeing her in costumes, seeing her like this, hearing her voice when __, feeling her __, etc.

im not much about the corruption, nor about the antagonist(s). it could be one or many people as long as the unfair kick is there. e.g. she is in another class, and they had pool lesson, so other boys saw her in a swimsuit and I haven't.

edit: so my experience helps you understand why some people self-insert

It's a fetish like any other. And you have to be able to separate your real life and the game. If you identify yourself with the MC, or even a LI with your girlfriend in real life, this fetish just isn't for you. You either look at the game as an interactive movie and enjoy it, or you actually think your way into the role, enjoy the eroticism and the stories and deliberately expose your feelings. Similar to riding a roller coaster. But you also have to be knitted for it
