EDIT: btw, I know I asked somewhat recently, but any recommendation for reverse ntr? (mc is corrupted away from his gf). Other than confession game, this game and its predecessor, it feels somewhat dry in that area, or am I missing some gems?

I liked the story but the gameplay was a bit meh, the statuses like trust, love and all that felt to me like arbitrary numbers with no mechanical concequence (except at the end, and the game gives you a solution for that) the scenes were average at best as well, they had no progression to it, you could deny all NTR scenes and the character would act like a slut if you accepted the last one. what kept me playing it was the non porn story wich was quite good, the mystery of the gem, the 3 factions that wanted it. the small things that happened with the NPCs. and the hope of getting crone to my side was what kept me playing. but again at the end of the game you realize that you were in a railroad and your choices did not matter.

still cool game though, I may replay it to get the NTR ending, since this NTR game had a good story that made me go for the Non NTR ending.

I agree. I'm 2 hours in the game. Solid game so far. Seems linear but decent writing, good scenes and pacing.

did a quick story-only run (game feature), and the NTR is pretty bad.
it's only one scene, and it's locked behind a choice where you change topic as she confesss.
the next scene she's immediately in a gangbang male students out of nowhere.
no corruption whatsoever, only the concept she's become lewd during your dungeon delving (which was always you two alone).

edit: it's just one ntr scene unless you consider slime and tentacles as NTR (i don't)

otherwise, the vanilla scenes are decent, only because she cute.
it has voice yes, decent but not the best VA out there. no background moans.

since it's a story-only run, my combat are all skipped so I cannot attest to combat stripping.
apparently as she takes damage, her clothes would be torn.
can't say how much we're missing by skipping that, but from what I can see from files it's just nude sprite.
someone feel free to correct me here, like are there groping etc during combat?

MTool works despite it being an electron build for RPGM. no encryption so just asar extract and images are open.

Indeed, it is a ballad. A husband could be breaking his back to keep the family afloat and his wife may still cry that she is never loved, or that she is in perpetual sufferring merely by being loyal to her husband just for another day. All because an impudent bastard derives pleasure from being able to "innocently charm" a woman who is taken. But eh, it also seems to me that most "modern" women nowadays enter a relationship with one foot out the door already. Those people deserve each other.

On another note:
A while ago i wrote another (needlessly-long) essay about my dislike of, generally speaking, corruption plotlines; i dislike seeing a genuine & well-meaning woman go through misery, and conversely i find that the depiction of the male antagonist's proactive corruption quite ludicruous (to the point of coming across as pathetic). And that (what i would classify as good) NTR should revolve far less around that.

Upon further thought, i think the theme i am gravitating to is of a story where the FMC or main love interest is latently corrupt, instead of becoming corrupt. One where the author masterfully crafted a devious liar of a character hiding beneath an attractive exterior. As if she is clearly (through well-executed foreshadowing) the villain herself. Her seemingly-innocent facade when with her boyfriend juxtaposed to a casually debauched minx when otherwise (e.g. during night outs with her equally depraved girl-friends).

The main idea here is i need to not be able to sympathize with the FMC/heroine to achieve the enjoyment i'm looking for, since it seems to me that a pillar to traditional NTR is to have readers (at least initially) care for the FMC or invested in FMC & MC's relationship. And i also love the idea that the MC is a salacious "charmer" (bastard who loves to be playful to other women) himself who is oblivious to the fact that his girl gets around behind his back. Therefore making me as the reader root for them to plunge into the deepest abyss of their downward spiral.

I don't know where to begin searching for this specific niche. The tags system does fuck all in helping my case. Which is why i'm turning to the connoisieurs here. Help will be greatly appreciated (y)

EDIT: i'm beginning to question the definition of Netorare when it comes to the mood. From the surface it seems that (conventional) Netorare is characterized by the evoking of sorrow or pity (through the depiction of betrayal). But this (technically) Netorare niche of mine seems to do the opposite.

I gave up trying to figure out reaching other endings in RiNaTest. I'd rather wait till it gets translated to jap by dev so people can mtl it at least. Can't fully enjoy the game without understanding some gameplay and story...

Why would you have to translate it to jap? Mtool can mtl chinese as well, I would say it actually does a better job at it than japanese.

Look, explaining it would be crazy, so I'll just leave you with a save that starts the route L in the Love section because each route can take you to many endings.

Unfortunately I'm playing through android so I only have Joitranslator for this, which just takes a screenshot and translates it immediately. Playing games with lots of text is very long and annoying process so I'd rather wait for proper translation or mtl. I found some eng mtl translation for RiNaTest on Spanish thread but it breaks the game...
Edit: huh, apparently there's android version of Mtool. But it only works with rpgm MV/MZ for now. Gotta try it out

They recently updated it, fixing bugs and errors, it is still in Chinese but that is not a problem.
If anyone has it please pass it on to me
