Because the stories focus is Netori, not Netorare. The entire progression serves those viewing the story from exactly what you stated "players who fantasise about cheating sex always seek the thrill brought by the risk of getting caught." which conflicts with a story presented with an MC in Netorare perspective.
Stories like these would be better suited by making the FC the MC, or even the Antagonist. Then, the progression of them duping the boyfriend/husband could be setup in numerous ways to present this concept of Netori. It would make more sense, especially considering the people supporting this type of game mostly identify with those characters.
It just makes no sense to view the story from the MCs perspective, unless... they WANT to be a cuck, which again... is contrary to Netorare.

It would be great if there was a revenge ending too
Yep, I could stomach a lot of the stories with many of these western NTR games if they worked in a revenge ending path to them. Unfortunately most tend to end up being all about cucking/humiliating the MC into oblivion.

A developer with that kind of morality simply wouldn't create these kinds of NTR games. The story's perversity already satisfies most NTR enthusiasts. This suggests that even if a revenge path were included, it would likely be unsatisfyingly brief or lack the intense detail required by dedicated fans.

Took a quick diversion from another game I've been playing and gave this one what I figured would just be a short 10-15 minute peak. Ended up playing for quite a bit longer than that. Finding myself engrossed in the story unfolding despite the lack of any choices or branching paths (so far). A little on the verbose side at times but like I said, kind of engrossing.
Playing only with the MC perspective and maybe it's the not-knowing of it, but wow I caught actual feelings a couple of times! Of course naming the characters after myself and an ex probably heightened the impact. But wow.

Very well said. The best solution for those who hate cheating content yet can't help themself from checking NTR games repeatedly, is not pestering devs to add revenge for them, but blocking themself from accessing such content

Revenge plots are not uncommon among Netorare stories though. The problem with many western NTR games as they are written specifically to cater to a Netori angle as rather than focusing on the reader identifying with the MC, they attend to the FC/Antagonist as heroes in the story.Very well said. That is, they serve a kink more than they do an actual story of loss of love, which is why the MC is often written to carry on the cucking/humiliation to such extremes.
If you read the description with this story, it is framed as a very traditional slow burn Netorare, but as I said it has more focus on Netorase/Netori in how the writing is presented.
It would actually help a lot if the author framed their focus of intent in that. Several developers here have begun to clarify their story focus by defining that the story as Netorase, but many suffer from what I described, that they are presented more to attend to those who identify with the FC/Antagonist than the MC, a "reverse perspective", rather watching the Netori from the MCs perspective (most NTR Mobile games, Hangover cat games, etc..). If that was noted more clearly (some do), then it would be easy to avoid such games.
As it is now, the only way to find out is to play through them and see how the story perspective is framed.
Good Netorare stories can exist without the kink (some are written without any adult content) because the focus is the story of the loss of a love, the MC finding out and dealing with the betrayal.
The game started good and I liked the NTR path till they had sex on the bed where MC was present and sleeping. At least drug the man, have him drink bottle of wisky so we can understand why he did not wake up with all the noise and movement!

Exactly, this is the point about how the writing is framed. It is written to serve the angle of the people who identify with the FC/Antagonist, not the MC. There is a certain amount of suspended disbelief you can apply in the Netorare story, something that while not likely can be fairly reasoned as to why the MC didn't catch on, but when it is an issue like you describe, it isn't serving the Netorare story, it is serving the Netori angle which makes the Netorare story seem stupid on its face.
MCs don't have to be complete brain dead oblivious morons. They are written that way because it is really a story about Netori and if you are seeking Netorare, it just looks as low effort kink writing.
