As much as I love his videos, but is it just me or his sound design sucks ass? Like the reverb's a bit much

Neither am I. But, to me, his work always has this weird echo-y effect. Especially when you compare it with other animators

This is the first Ahri project where we get to see the mouth movement on top of the voice dub. The reverb was probably added to create the ambience of Ahri's alluring nature AKA her CHARM. However, maybe it was tough to find a balance for her short speaking voice and the gawk gawk sounds, so the mixing process probably didn't come out very well.
If you want, you can take the video and put it into an editing software to bump the volume up a bit. Usually there will be some significant differences besides the higher sound you get from just turning up the volume on a video player. Then, if that still sounds off to you, just wait for the KDA alt and see if the sound design is different on that one. I personally like to take Nutty animations and tweak them visually so I never really thought much about the overall sound quality.
POV has to be mandatory with her talking like that im just sayin

I was wondering why KDA alt took longer than usual. Now, it's crystal clear O_O

Considering the fact that others rarely do so-called "just reskin" alts, yeah, I would agree and say that this artist did an amazing job. Would you rather this artist doesn't do the alts of rest of KDA members? lol
That would be superb, yeah!The alts are great but I am still hoping for the POV
