And Technobrake says he's gonna be returning plot to the newer version starting witn 0.8 update.

The chinese remake is an unofficial fan game made by chinese. It has no english translation, so good luck trying to play it if you don't speak chinese.

Well, 0.75 released in november. And 0.70 released in august.
So the next update should take about two or three months.
Also, Techno writes in his latest ci-en post that he's trying to quit drinking, so that may or may not speed up his work.

It seems that version 0.8 (Chinese version) has expired, but Liu Yanran (author of the Chinese version) announced that he will release version 1.0 in the next few months, and his telegram group (now unavailable) has released the internal version 0.87. You can only play version 0.8 or wait for the new version to be released.

Boy oh boy. You haven't heard of the Summertime Saga legend, have you? About how that dev has been doing nothing for years, only releasing tiny bugfix updates to keep up the charade.

Also, there's been games that were in development for more than a decade, literally longer than F95 forum existed, and still are nowhere near being finished.

Techno is still one of the better ones, despite all of his flaws. He at least finished most of the games he started making.

Wow, this "game" is still alive. It's not a game anymore; it's like the Santa Barbara series. It's about to turn five years old, and the development doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Clearly, the developer is both greedy and lazy.
