I think a more realistic release date for version 0.6 Full is the end of summer 2023. First, as always, those who donate more than $50 will receive it, later, with a slight delay, those who donate $15+. And those who donate less, or don’t donate at all in a month or two. I could be wrong, this is my subjective opinion based on previous updates to the game and is extremely optimistic. Also, I decided not to renew my subscription on patreon, because it makes no sense to donate 3 dollars for nothing, I'm not interested in posts with renders, especially since many are closed to me. I'd rather look at other promising projects like Summer Heat/Ms.Denvers/Dreamland. I like this game, but I will probably return to it as soon as updates come out more often and more stable.

The update will be released probably 2 years after the previous one. There is no excuse to that and it is absolutely unacceptable to ask for support with this kind of commitment

the 9th december, he released the "alpha 0.6" we are aleady more than 3 months after and the beta is still not released? What is taking him so much time? In his patreon's posts, its saying that his renders are finished for a lot of characters so i dont understand.
Before he was already taking so much time but well he had 2 games at the same time so an update every 3/4 months was understable but now this apologize dont work anymore!!! He is now making 1838$ a month i'm happy for him because he deserved it but i hope that he is not becoming like all those developers who no longer do anything with their time when they have a fairly high salary.
I don't want to be mean or anything like that, I just want to understand why it's so long. I can also understand that he releases his game for his most important patrons first and that's normal but if it's only "a beta" with "a lot of black screens and bugs" why not make everyone enjoy it a few months after its release just to tease them and make them want to join his patreon to find out more?

I am for example a patron of Eromersive the dev of Demon boy since 1 year and and i think i have the legitimacy to complain about his game, the lack of information and updates that never come. You see the difference?...
It's like you download a movie illegally you watch it, don't find it good at all and then go to review forums to butcher it (wait.. that's what I do everytime???? A movie or an AAA game are completed projects. In adult gaming the devs present their work to the audience and ask for support which is an absolutely different thing. From my point of view, unfortunately I cannot support a project with yearly updates because I believe we should not encourage this practice. There is a huge lack in consistency and reliability in the market with many games been abandoned or with extremely slow updates.
I was actually curious, so I checked how many renders in total there are in the v06 folder inside the renpy folder.
Its 1836. Now, take out a third of them for fairness sake (Repetition, renders with small difference), then I also realised I have more renders I have not even put in. It would be cool if I managed to get more than 2000 renders in this update.
The practice of... What exactly? Working on our games? Your criticism only works if the case was that I was doing nothing all day, which I am not. I work 6-7 days a week. If you don't want to support me (I cannot see you in my Discord, so I am going to assume you are not giving my money), why are you still in this thread lmao? Just mute it, and move on with your life.

Because I have allready answered the question before earlier in the thread? There is a lot of lore and story this update, therefore I need to create renders for them. 97-99% of the erotica is done however.

If I wanted to make money, and only money, why would I be creating a VN with 66-75% story where the only erotica/hentai/porn is Ugly Bastard NTR? Why wouldn't I be creating normal dude with mega schlong dicking girls down in his harem? Thats where the money is, you know this, right? Or Furry content which arguably has even more money attached to it? Like one of the biggest furry devs on this site, last I checked, made something like 10k a month on SS (Feel free to correct me on that one, anyone that knows).

I'm not sure if 1800 dollars that a developer on patreon gets is a lot of money, for example for my country, I work in food delivery and my monthly income is equivalent to 4000 US dollars. For conditional Russia, my native country, this is a lot of money. Now I live in the USA, and this money is enough for me only to pay bills, nothing more. Yes you're wrong as you can read from her Patron page. For 6$ "you will gain access to the update of the game three days before official release date". By paying 15$ you already can get access to beta version.

You know, I've been thinking about it and Roxas and Namine shouldn't have come back. Them ending up as a part of Sora and Kairi was the perfect tragic ending to their story and while we love that they do return and I don't think it ruins the ending of KHII, I do think the story of KHIII could have been written better without them.
