can someone explain why I can't start a new playthrough? I already played through it once but I wanted to do a new game and if I click Start at the title screen, it just loads me into my original save

Please help me, I accidentally clicked on the unlock CG and I want to experience the whole game, but now that the CG has been unlocked, the experience is terrible, so now how do I delete the save and delete the opened CG now? =((
