The game is mostly gay. There is one female you can interact and it's the only female in the game joe can make out with. Rest are male on male
Really love Bates though a grand shame it takes so long to finish him and rimming animation is waaaaay too short (that's just my preference, I understand rimming is not popular in general).
As for Win32 RAM overflow problem in the "Known Issues", that is expected due to harsh limitations of OS and size of HQ animations. What I would suggest as a potential solution for their problem is more detailed and aggressive asset/texture/whatever streaming (which can be quite tough imo) and sprite dicing, a fairly fresh (if I'm correct) technique that slices the sprites, then combines identical parts and then combines those with the unique slices together in one/few atlas(es) that should take less RAM and decrease loading times regardless of whether it's 32 or 64 bit.

If he still is 5 phases is overkill, and I can only imagine how much of a nightmare the actual bosses of the game are going to be. Im praying that he isn't and that he'll drops one of the gayos emeralds when you beat him.
i agree the amount of stuff done on baytes is overkill for just a mini boss... recuring miniboss perhaps? would explain it a bit with him getting harder with each encounter... or has some stupid quick kill trick that trivializes the encounter, why do i hear the nintendo power theme?
If he was a reocurring miniboss, it would make sense for his first appearance to be rather simple and only have one or two moves, if they are gonna dump 10 moves and 18 animations on him every time he fucking shows up, this game is gonna be finished in 2073
Which part do i need to touch to use the gallery cheat? It said white gradient near the bottom center but i can't seem to trigger it

The irony this would pop up the VERY NEXT DAY after I downloaded the recent version. I swear, I somehow always time it wrong. XD But two things: 1) I'm very much down for the Nuzzle, he looks fucking adorable. :3 And 2) Anyone else think they've seen that cave texture before? I swear it's in a number of Unity games.
Still, nice to see Bates will hopefully, maybe, sometime soon please, possibly, could be, duly if we're lucky done with at last. Don't get me wrong, boss battle isn't bad, music is good, animations are good (the ear nibble one ticks SO many boxes for me), but Jesus on a bicycle that doesn't have a seat shouting "OH MATRON!" when he sits down, it feels like I was a wee bairn when I first heard he was being added.
Glad to see a new enemy, and i love the design so far. I hope the next level will be more interesting than just a hallway like the forbidden bayou. I love the comic idea, i like to see that they are using the patreon money to make more things about the game.
