IIRC it was actually that the artist was commissioned and very popular, but also didn't do the best at managing their time for already accepted commissions. So it was switched by the developer to someone who'd get the art done faster, right when the developer basically stopped (publicly) working on the game.

The Artist is ScarletAnn, you probably recognize their art from some of Siren's or Nergal's games

Well dev came back to life recently and released an update for his other game so there's still hope.
There's also a promising project being developed by a dude on here with the same concept, there's always that too.

I don't think this is even that hard a game model to replicate. The downside is it requires art, and I'm not able to really draw characters. Otherwise I'd make my own at this point.

The guy doing the spin off is using AI, overall seems to have a consistent design going instead of the super generic renders you usually get with AI so fingers crossed we see a first release sometime this year.

Hello everyone.
So I decided to make some mods for this game, since it is available.

1. I am not an artist in any way. Just somewhat decent with photoshop layers. Did some color corrections.
*All things I added here are available assets. It is quite hard to match hentai assets with ScarlettAnn art.
Her artwork looks more like adult webtoon, rather than hentai so few of my ideas failed. For example I tried to add used condoms on Debbies legs like 7 times, but assets did not look good at all.

2. How do I make your mods work?
*Download my mods here:

You must be registered to see the links

*Unpack the archive and replace OnEdge-vX.X.X/www/img/pictures/mod-clothing content with my mod-clothing content.
*In case you get a bug and can't use the mod. Try saving the game and reloading it.
*In game: Must unlock tanktop!
*In game: Press Esc->Config-> Mod Select-> Turn mod on/off-> Turn Mod On -> Select one of my mods.
*There is a bug with card "Reveal Breasts". While using this mod, this card does nothing at all.
Mods with nipple stickers should work correctly - stickers are removed after using card "Reveal Breasts". But they don't...
*Found out where the bug is, place attachment: 1image_loader.js in OnEdge-vX.X.X/www/js/plugins

I don't know what is it with AI art, but if it's not at least retouched, it looks bad somehow, even though it's good.
I would only use AI as a better sketch/placeholder until real art.
Although AI gets better and better, so maybe.

It's already more than good enough but it requires some effort to get a specific style and cohesive imagesets, even some redrawing if you're willing. I'll leave you to guess how many of the devs that resort to AI are open to putting in work for quality rather than just whip up 50 vaguely similar images in that generic rendered style and call it a day.
