The looks of the main character is the least of the problems. What trully bothers me about him, is him being insensitive and dumb in some instances, and does it automatically with no way given to us to stop him.
For example he considers so cool to ignore studying and thinks it's cool, overall his attitude vs. school. I don't even say how bad it is when he walks over Summer in bathroom and we can't stop him. That's why I almost forced him into a Haru exclusive mode, maybe something sticks, because he is helpless. The only good thing in writing related to this, is that I can deny him having sex. He had none and will get none, until learns to show respect and wakes up from his completely lost mode.

Wouldn't Summer be a better candidate then? Haru seems too innocent for your plan to reform him. At least with Summer, you know she'll call him out on his bullshit

You do realize this is a pre-written game, right? The character isn't making decisions in real time.

1. We cant make mc too perfect in the beginning. We have to give him some sort of development, you know? And theres a lot more development coming.
2. You can do whatever you want with your mc, but it never even crossed my mind to punish him with blue balls lmao. Reminds me of when I played the Sims when I was younger lmao

Thanks for the replies and sorry, won't do multi-quote, but will do a short answer:

Of course, it's just my very subjective reaction, and I just find it very annoying when the character we are supposed to control, does things on it's own and we are left to deal with the consequences.
It's easier to write it that way, I get it, but it's not nice playing it. But it's not new, sometimes happens in a VN. Just the less of this, the better, otherwise turns more into a kinetic novel.

The blue balls idea is funny though, but no, that wasn't intended to be kept up forever, it's just because there were no sex scenes with Haru and I decided to "teach him" some loyalty, so could not allow it with others.
And about Haru vs. Summer: I think Haru has more chance to change the main character. But of course that's hard to tell so early on, we don't know what happens next.

What the hell? The incest was removed? Damn, these developers who use the tag to hype the game and then remove it are the worst kind. I'm leaving now and see you never again.

The incest thing was totally an accident- and by that, I mean a miscommunication. I have a screenshot somewhere of when I told my co-dev that Summer was not related to MC, but that I knew certain peoplee enjoyed incest so I didnt mind throwing it in. However, not only did the incest line make no sense, it impeded on what I wanted Summer and Leyla to be. I wanted to build upon their familial relationship with the absence of blood, because I felt it fit more in line with some themes im building in the game.

I honestly didn't realize anyone would feel duped by this change, or feel like I was scamming them, and I'm sorry if anyone feels like that. But I wanted to change it now before anyone got super attached to the incest sides of things

I also believe my announcement for this was BEFORE the Collective Shout/itch thing, but im not sure how long before it

I never assumed people would be this mad about it lol
