I don't buy this. There is no shaming . The ones that are doing the shaming are the characters outside the Tale commenting on it. All the women in the Tale love the Wolf dick , unless I missed something. The tale follows typical "corruption" RPG flow with an overdose of 80s porn logic. The Girl is not bound to break. There is even a "pure run" reward on the final dungeon of the Tale.
As for the moral of the game, I still don't know what it is and nobody is bothering to spell it out for me. I suppose your argument (and correct me if I'm wrong) is along the lines of "go out and explore the world , your hometown is too small for you". It might be that but that's like.. we know , we are living in the internet era , not in the 90s , we can explore the world with a click.
When you give the nurse outfit to the dude in Cummerce :

I think the piece you are missing from your analysis is keeping the dreamers into account. And keep in mind that they are ALL pretty massive hypocrites. Ulfina's dreamer wants talks on and on to how nasty and evil humans are for hurting poor sweet Ulfina, despite the fact that said dreamer is the one forcing the humans to hurt her.
The order dreamer is all about tales staying separate and not intermingling. Even though the order of tales is meddling with literally every tale you are in. The blue dreamer wants to put a stop to violence...via murder.
And the bangvile dreamer wants to degrade Ingrid for being a corrupted slut...despite being the one to make the ENTIRE tale based on sex, and setting up so many scenarios for Ingrid to become a sex tool. As for a 'morale' for the whole game I'd say it's a bit to varied to have one central theme. I mean it's kinda the whole point that it isn't just some simple fairy tale!
But as far as character's it's about rebelling against the dreamers. Hood is meant to be a victim role, she is one of the strongest in the game. Wilhelm is meant to be the lone and world wear survivor as the tale demands, he finds friends and love, Ulfina is meant to hate humans obviously does not, and Ingrid.
Ingrid is a special case. I think the reason she takes the longest of her companions to solidify herself is that she isn't able to do just a 180 of her role. Because she likes sex, but with all her companions doing 180s to what they are meant to be she might feel she needs to do the same...which makes her ashamed of liking sex and...look at that she is still trapped in her tale. So her escape from the dreamers is to accept herself for liking sex. At least how I saw it.
As for your question on why it was not okay for the cummerce guy and not okay for the cat suit girl.
The guy wanted to see her in the nurse outfit for his own pleasure. The girl wanted to do it for the pleasure of her partner. One is meant to degrade the person wearing it. The other is meant to bring happiness to another.
And if you still have feelings for the game or concerns, because you do have some legitimate criticism I won't deny, then you should bring it up to SL. No use for "tough love" here, as she doesn't come here. If you really care about the game, then spend 10 bucks on patreon and tell SL. She'll listen. (Though don't try it on the blog, she isn't too happy when people mention having pirated the game.)
