Sounds like you answered my question. You don't experience love, at least not any more.I don't know, I don't care much for relationships or love either. Last time I was in some kind of serious relationship was almost 10 years ago and I don't miss it either.
I am not possessive like that and I am "keep it casual" kind of guy.
Because it isn't about being possessive. It is about feeling. If your partner screws around, you could allow yourself to feel betrayed, and look elsewhere. But you don't need to express possession. The old saw about, if you love somebody, set them free ( If they return, they are yours) applies. That would be in their own heart, you still would not have possession. But it can help a lot to know what is in their heart.
Getting that requires giving the same on your part and all the risks of vulnerability. Word on the street is that the risk is worth it. YMMV.
