Yes, "heavy rework" (dev's words). Though he did say that OnlyHer is easier to develop than The Apex due to the different game engines and how art is created for each. So don't lose hope.

It seems the developer is focused on rewriting code for this game and not creating new content. Plus, he's got another game in the works. Couple those things together and it will probably be awhile before there is an update. Sucks.

It's also pretty clear that the developer has chosen not to give a time frame for an update. I say that because he's on this forum and never answers the question.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: There WILL be new content in the new update, just like there is new content for the "intro rework". Just because it's labelled as a rework doesn't mean it won't be bringing in new content. Also, trust me when I say this: The other game's development schedule doesn't take away time from this game that much, if at all since I've always worked on both simultaneously. The thing that DOES take most of my time away from me is my day job, so if you wanna point any fingers, blame the government for making rent and food so expensive

Can I unlock the remaining side events in the galery? I could only manage to unlock the first 2 images of Chou, Rick and Tyrone, but they start to repeat and the game pretty much died. Any tips on how to unlock them all?

I did go in the previous page but it's not very clear
In the Dev note MrWarmBeer said NTR is avoidable but i heard that there is an unavoidable Cheating scene so I'm a little confious

Its avoidable but most of the content is related to some type of cheating, sharing or NTR so it still might not be for you. But who knows maybe the rework will have more vanilla stuff nobody really knows at this point.

And you shouldnt. EVERY game that start this 'rework' barely releases new stuff and cut off a LOT of paths and fetishes for a beautiful CG (that don't make a difference in the first place, otherwise people would not be playing the game before the rework).

I really don't understand the difficulty to finish the game like it's, to keep the player base and supporters in the game, and when it finishes (maybe a quick finish), release the " Game Name 2" with the better renders in place. It isnt that what any triple A game, indie game, movie, tv show, etc do?

Rework always make me remember Where it all Began. Renders are a LOT better, but after 3 years of rework,barely any new sex content was added and the story didnt catch up with the older version, also the writing got worst, characters behave like teens.

This game here was one of my favorites, but I already hated the new intro, so I'm not holding no optimism. Rework that remove content isnt rework, is just a "try to grab the masses removing niche fetishes" fest.

Just discovered this game, and boy, it hit mostly hit the right notes for me. The prologue does a pretty good job of setting stuff up, can't wait to see where this goes.

I played on into the freeroam a bit and I'll agree the quality drops just a tad there (yes, I am aware the dev is reworking to align the two portions). What gets me going is convincing/tricking/blackmailing the wife into doing sexual acts she's not really keen on, so I was a little disappointed to see her embrace all the debauchery. I wish the MC had a little bit more agency (maybe allowing him to join the wife and Rick/Tyrone at least in the early stages, or pushing his wife more to go further and further with the hospital patient rather than a bland yes/no question). In the end though, I was sad there wasn't more content, so I am eagerly anticipating the next update.

What I'd like to see is Tyrone inviting some buddies to have a go at her, and Rick should maybe set her up with colleagues/customers to advance his own career.
