Absolutely couldn't get into this game. All the stuff with the computer at the start is too much like actual work, and a lot of the time I had no idea what I was supposed to do next. I was out of emails, had done all the "work" but it wouldn't let me close the computer. I admit, I didn't get too far into it because it was a lot of grinding and but no actual choices - I was hoping to do this and avoid all the NTR but I just couldn't get through the first couple of weeks.

Why the scenes on my gallery dont have the dialogue?Is that normal?If it is,can i somehow see the scenes with dialogue and not only the images?

Nothing new. About a month ago the developer posted here that his work hours at his real job had increased so he has less time to work on the game. No updates on Patreon since the end of August.

The usual BS when a dev start with the "remake" bs when the game havent even half story ready. Then start to milk patreon.

Now he'll come for yearly releases, like WIAB, always saying things wont take too long next time, while the dumb fans throw money and defend him on this post, until he fully abandon it.

The milking dev cliché for this game is ticking all the right boxes.

This is an old version of the game prior to the reworked intro implemented in the last version of the game.

Here's more info about it though. It's an entirely different way the game starts before entering the sandbox mode. It includes different scenes and how certain, early outcomes play out. Most importantly, it includes an unavoidable, dark "flavored" (and quite lengthly) situation with the wife and someone else that sets up the previous version of the game before. It centered around the theme of blackmail which escalated quite far in the original intro. This has been removed in the reworked, new intro of the game.

A game isnt getting abandoned just because there hasnt been an update for 6 some months. It has been mentioned several times that he is reworking stuff. He may be lacking in communication, but people really should stop doing calls like that. Its getting annoying, because it all false info, especially for new people on the thread.

That's good to know.

I tried the game before the rewrite of the intro, and I found the intro part merely OK, with the sandbox part either lacking in content or just unengaging, so I put it away quite early. But recently I played the new intro, and I like it a lot! It's a huge improvement, but now that there does exist sandbox content, I'd rather wait until those parts are also rewritten, so that the fit the new narrative and new standard of quality.

I wish the developer good luck, and keep up the good (re-)work.

To answer your question is that normal then the answer is yes with the exception of the landlords scenes since as of now iirc he either sends them to you or gives a flash drive if you want scenes with dialoge options id assume your best bet is either make saves before the scenes or see if the universal renpy mod works and search for the scene

Accuse me of "simping for Warmbeer," but...

Last time he was active on here he directly told us that the next release is a full rework of all existing content in the main "sandbox" to fit with the reworked intro, all at once, and actual new content will resume afterwards. At the time he said that, this thread's 1st post was a couple months past 2 years old.

So he's reworking the character-subplots, and their effects on both versions of the main plot, in a game that was already 2.X years in development.

A lot to take on and promise, especially instead of just continuation? Sure.
Realistically long enough to get mad at him it isn't finished yet? Probably not.
