I'm not expecting anything, but I at least hope the other half of the remake gets finished. It's the only time a remake actually improved one of these games. But currently it sucks how after the intro is finished, most of it is "retconned" by the old continuity.

I'm back again with another update post!

My previous post two weeks ago was definitely a hefty read and I covered a lot of what I wanted to talk about, but not everything. Today, I'll be highlighting some features I have been working on and maybe briefly mention some things I'm just not quite ready to fully share yet.

First things first: Updated graphics! As mentioned around the release of update 0.6, I was planning on returning and updating a lot of the older scenes in the game that don't quite hold up and the one that was always first on my list was Will's introduction scene! Flipping back and forth between the "before" and "after" images above, it's clear that the graphics have improved immensely as I've gotten better at controlling my lighting and posing within scenes. The new renders were done months ago actually but after implementing it into the game, I realized that a lot of the cafe renders also don't hold up quite well. This lead me down the rabbit hole of updating every single renders of Will and his different expressions behind the counter on the weekends, all renders with Bella behind the counter, renders of Bella outside of work and lastly, renders wifey travelling the city with you! Needless to say, the cafe will be receiving a massive face lift when you visit it in the new update!

Now, onto things I've been working on behind-the-scenes! I have been spending a lot of time optimizing the game! As mentioned countless times already, the spaghetti code I created for myself when I first created the game has always been extremely challenging to work with, so it is always a constant effort to better the game whenever I can. This isn't always an easy thing to do though, since it's quite hard to know where to start. The harder part is justifying the time spent on it. Re-building systems with so many screws and wires takes a lot of time and I know many players aren't willing to wait for something that isn't tangible. It's easier for me to just create a few renders and call it a day, but sometimes I have to take the hard route and clean up the game as I go. Not to mention the super non-optimal way that I have created images for the game originally which took up so much more space than it ever needed to. These are all things that will definitely be fixed at some point, if not at the release of the new update.

I know there's more you want to know at the moment, but unfortunately I can't help but to refrain from telling you more, because I am just that much of an ass.

That being said, take care and I will see you soon with more news!

Can this be true? DEV will actually go back to the game that his base really likes and wants?! I hope it is true! This was a great game.

Considering everything in the first half of the rework was entirely new. A bunch of shit in this one will be too.

The game is also filled with continuity issues because the re-work isn't finished. I have zero idea how anyone would have expected a new update to be anything different than this.

good to see you.. good to see you... good to see you , do you know Don Rodrigez ? Don Rodrigez from the Bronx ? (just a joke;) Dude dont be so hard to yourself its ok , but from my perspective i wouldn´t spend too much time on rendering. The magic of this game lies in its flair and the story. thx

I hope it continues.

The pre-rework boss and start was a LOT better, but the post rework is still kinda good.

EDIT: btw, anyone hate the version that had Chou (the boss) choking the wife hard while fucking in the office? Its a shame that render was removed. Would be nice to replay that version.

Too lazy to upload the pictures, sorry. Not very interesting anyway.

Progress update #61 - 2 days ago

"I'm back with progress updates, and it's a BIG ONE!
Sorry for taking a small break, my day job has been taking over my time so I never had much mental energy left to do a post. A lot of work was done though and I'm here to showcase you some of them today!
First things first, as mentioned in the last post, I created a new mini-game under the framework of the previous "Bug Hunting" one that repeated throughout the intro (check it out in the first picture)! If you guys remember, the old mini-game required you to type all the bugs in sequence while separating them with an underscore "_", which proved quite a hassle for players as misplacing a certain word or not placing an underscore at any point would fail the game! It proved so frustrating in fact, I pretty much added a band-aid patch to it by providing the option to just outright skip the complicated minigame. That won't be the case anymore! The new game is sleek and easy to understand. There is a certain amount of words on screen, you type each word out and poof, PROFIT! The words are chosen at random from a large pool of words so you're never seeing the same program twice, plus, there's no need to type them in order!
So does this mean that from now on, every time you choose to "work on the laptop", you have to play the new minigame? Nope, not at all! Instead, I've provided 2 work folders labelled "Bug Hunting" and "Development". Choosing "Bug Hunting" will function like how it did before, where the in-game time will skip and you will earn minimal money, while choosing "Development" instead will start the new mini-game. So why choose "Development" if it's going to take more effort you ask? Well, not only does it pay substantially more but you also get an increase on your work performance progress (work performance is still under development, but it will heavily tie into the main story while also giving you a pay bonus)! There will be some in-game events explaining everything your company is going through and why these changes were made, which you can see some images in pictures 3 and 4 above!
Next thing, I've updated all of the renders revolving around the free-roam section within the bedroom, including any interactions you might have with your wife. I don't have the before and after renders here in this post, but maybe I'll do a deeper breakdown in the next post along with some new spicy renders ;) (it's about time, right?). Along with the new art updates, I've also created a newer and easier way to program interactions that flow naturally no matter where you choose to initiate a conversation with your wife. The way it was before restricted the kinds of interactions you could do, forcing certain dialogue choices to be locked out if your wife was in the living room as opposed to the bedroom for example.
Lastly, I've fully implemented a new location: The beach! There aren't many events here yet, but it is a place that also allows you to FISH similar to the river, which means a whole new set of saltwater fishes were added to accommodate this new area! (Currently, there are 40 fishes in total split between the 2 locations)
Phew, and that's all the news I have for now. It's hard to explain just how much work was done in a post like this, so I hope you can see the scale of the new update! The next few posts will be tackling more events, which means more spicy renders I've been working on in the background so I'm sure you guys will be quite excited about that!
Anyhow, take care! Next post soon!"

His fans has been asking for OnlyHer content for AGES and this guy manages to spent all his energy and time into a damn FISHING GAME... 40 different species? COOL. Some characters have barely 5 scenes for themself, but cool thing that we got 40 different fishes to catch them all!
Fuk man. I had some very VERY small hope there, that I actually subscribed again to see some content news, but this is BEYOND disappointing.. its cool if you want to work on stuff that makes you happy, but cant you do that AFTER actually continuing with your ACTUAL GAME?

The very last few fans you have left have been waiting over 18 MONTHS to get some damn FISHING MINI GAME...
I dont know... I really, REALLY tried to give you another chance... but i give up... go and drink your warm beer or something, its not worth the wait...

Nah, bro. Fishing? This is absolute peak. Was absolutely worth the wait. Can't wait for some nice peaceful fishing while Jodie gets her back blown out by the fisherman.....Just in case it's necessary, this is ABSOLUTELY sarcasm. That it's been over a year and a half and the dude comes back with fucking MINIGAMES as the main update is just sickening.

well, nothing wrong with fishing...
would like to see more events with wife, to balance between healthy couple relationship and cucking
And ways to spend money on, like gifts for her or dates
