The update was ok for me the first mission had a rework cool but if the rest of the story and dialogue does not follow then what's the point I was waiting to put our fleet admiral in her place and load the ship with new members and weapons to counter "the others" and instead this who doesn't bring new information then the anchors scene was not expected at all but with or without it serves no purpose at all it doesn't bring anything to the story too (but the cumflation was beautiful it was like Sara Scorpion from space pirate sara ngl) and finally when my interest was at it's peak with nyx position S/M when we learn her honest opinion of the MC after seeing both scenes I'm not really into femdom but what I understand from that is she want something without showing her weaknesses and damn if what she said is true Lym got work to do but I will stay on the "neutral" path overall I saw the update as a waste of time and in this I mean the story could have progressed further but instead it bring things that wasn't really necessary but I still think that it's a masterpiece hoping to see more of ms saeko and have some news from lili maybe she will act like an operator from nier automata when she goes back to earth or nothing but at the end of the day I'll be waiting for the next update.

My rebuttal, which I already touched on in my original post, is that I get no satisfaction from outdoing Alex because anyone automatically wins against him. Other than a passing mention that his grades are serviceable, he has never shown even baseline competency in literally anything from beginning to end. I'll remind you the cat, a creature without opposable thumbs, scored more ranged hits (1, even though it's friendly fire) than he did (0).
Humor is subjective, and I'm glad you managed to wring enjoyment out of Alex, but there isn't any "cucking" or "mindfuck" involved. Alex was never going to get any (hence, no cucking), and he's thoroughly unqualified for his station from day one (hence, no mindfuck). He would've self-destructed all the same whether the MC was present or not, which, to me, is the hallmark of an unnecessary character. If my interactions with him aren't going to matter, why bother?

For me, he's not really an antagonist, because he's (so far) just an object of mockery & derision, maybe even pity.
I think the toilet drinking scene encapsulated this, absolutely.
As you said, he needs some skill, or prowess, which could place the MC in jeopardy, in order to occupy a solid antagonist's position.
At the moment, he's more of a laxative - irritates the shit out of you, but not much else.
Being better than that is no achievement.

Also find it nice to hear that it sounds like a proper sub\dom relationship, instead of the standard abusive asshole & doormat these games often portray.
I'm not interested in sub\dom, personally, but do know a couple who are into it & they are still really loving to each other.
Sub\dom should be respectful of each other's feelings & to hear that this is how it's written makes me want to give it a go.

Ok, I enjoyed this update, much more than the last one. The scenes with Nyx were quite, good. I enjoy getting to know her character better. I like her, but It seems she has by far the most content so far, which is rather unbalanced versus the other LIs in the game, is that intentional? Is she the Patreon fan favorite or something?
Was there a purpose I am missing for the alien/newscaster scene? I wouldn't care either way if it was related to the story, but it seemed kind of shoe-horned in there for no apparent reason. Will this be an important story element in a future update?
It just seemed incongruous, and as a player, I can't see why I would care about any of these characters I've never seen before and have no relation to the MC or the other characters in the game. Just to see random sex scenes between strangers, well there is Pornhub for that. I struggled not to skip through the dialog, which I hate doing in general.

thats cool! if people can make a relationship like that work then more power to em! personally IRL I have never had an experience like that and in most erotic games its almost always depicted as one person treating the other like shit until they say a safe word or something along those lines! if a sub/dom relationship can have loving and tender aspects to it then that makes it sound a little better than I had originally envisioned that type of relationship being. not saying im ready to jump into a relationship like that but its something that i might think about if the situation arose.Not played the route myself, but you've definitely made it sound interesting - thanks!

as for the game, it puts a new light on Nyx and makes you think more closely about what her true motives might be! could she be hiding things from you still even though you are are supposed to be open and trusting each other after this encounter! guess thats stuff we'll find out in future updates! you might even want to give the other route a quick run through (its not quite as long as the m/dom route either so its about the length of a regular scene). it just shows that Nyx isnt heartless, but i think Hall and Oats said it best... "watch out boy she'll chew you up!" lol

i originally did it to fill the gallery (the completionist in me was getting the better of me)! im glad i did though! loved how sweet and loving she was in that version (gotta love when a girl whos typically a bad ass or the assertive type opens up to show a sensitive side). as i mentioned in my thoughts on that route, even though i love how sweet she was i dont know if i trust her!I'm happy you gave the other route a try

Did I miss a main story mission somewhere? I just got Nyx from the first planet, the next mission after that people said that I shouldn't have brought Nyx along, there are also scenes where Nyx refer to this "mission" that I haven't seen yet.

i couldnt remember but i went back to check and she calls the MC her "Aluwin"! if that means something to you then id love if you could shed some light on this for me. maybe its something in a foreign language?! if you cant make any sense of it either i just assume its something the dev will shed light on later in the story!
she calls him that after she turns from degrading to sweet and caring and first said it while giving the MC a romantic kiss! thats why in my post where i shared my thoughts i made the assumption it was something in Eldarian that meant "pet or lover"! but at this point thats just an guess in relation to the situation in which she called the MC her "Aluwin"
Had downloaded the 3.8 version a month or so back and finally played it. Loved the game. A decent story and really nails a couple of my kink preferences. Then I saw the notes on 3.9 on how you reworked the first mission. So I redownloaded it and replayed it again. Gotta say, definitely think the rework on the first mission was done superbly. The lack of Alex scenes prior to mission 1 was a glaring issue previously and I definitely feel like the reworked story has a much more natural flow. Great job dev!
