One of the most enjoyable visual novels I've played, there's enough "free will" choices not to feel like you're just following one route, Harem Hotel is still my favourite for free will interaction with characters. The story is engaging, and becomes more so as it's progresses, you're not smashing through dialogue just to get to the sex parts, like a lot of lewd games. Love the character and visual look too. Completed V0.4.6 and left wanting more.

Didn't the game have a walkthrough mod or something like that for relationship points (Nyx Sub/Dom etc...) ? Or am I going insane ?

So basically got back to where I was sometime ago... Is Lyn just not a fundamental character to the MC?

We make a promise to her and then just choose someone else to take her place?
making the MC's confection of love pointless.

Nyx is great and all but the bond you get with her is not as strong of a bond you get with Lyn.

Personal relationships and business relationships aren't the same thing. Nyx was better suited for the job. That doesn't mean Cap doesn't love and care for Lym.

Nyx has barely anytime on the ship and the MC just decided that's the new second in command how does that make any sence here?

also looking at the reviews the Doctor becomes redundant at some point as-well? you are removing all want to continue the game by making LI's useless

If the Dev cant wright a maintained Multi LI's and maintain there story without making them redundant (Lyn & Dr Clermont) to the story - then just kill them off until the Main LI remains (Nyx)

Man, you do realize that your arguments are kinda ... weak?

I'd be willing to follow the discussion about the confession to Lym while the MC sleeps around with other characters or even has a kid but in MC's position as a Captain choosing Nyx over Lym as XO based on competence is the right and rational choice - even if it's a harsh one.

I understand feeling like betraying Lym on that front but risking to feel nothing at all because you might not survive due to wrong staffing is arguably worse.

based on competence
I think the fundamental issue was that Lym was pretty hardcore loyal to the authorities even after it became clear they were bad guys. Like, she was keeping loyalty for the people hunting you... great trait for an XO.
I agree with you that she could literally get our people killed by not recognizing the danger that poses.
And I actually like that things like that are met with action and consequence in this story. Things like this are so disregarded in a lot of AVN writing where such consequences and conflicts never happen, even though they absolutely should.
Unironically better writing points in a game called "Oppai Odyssey" than in many others. Kind of sad that this effort gets recognized so little. Half the comments on the Lym demotion seem to not have even read everything properly.

I think I made a comment some time ago how this is finally an actual lasting conflict between characters and how that is a good thing for a story. A point in a story is not the bland slop we usually get and now it's not fine either :LUL:

To be honest, I really crave that kind of conflict in most harem stories / games. MCs going for multiple people and then managing that dynamic.
Seeing good writing about building bridges and mending relationships by cultivating a common "communal" feeling in that harem is something that scratches a particular itch. And I say this as someone who is aroused by romance and intimacy too besides plain eroticism.

I mean the ability to question orders is a particular competence that is needed to deviate from the government for the sake of survival of the rest of the galaxy for this story. In my playthrough Nyx questions her own teachings to some degree (because of decisions about Pip), so she shows her motivation and what would be the driving force of her own agency.

Hi again, everyone. This month, I worked through a bunch of events with a ton writing, renders and some juicy animations. One event that was completed was one of my most ambitious projects. It was a lot of work, but turned out great.
  • 100 new renders
  • 2 new animations
  • lots of writing. so many words.
  • 2 events completed
I started the month working on the big event, and once that was done, I spent days writing. Covered a lot of important events and tense moments, before moving on to a spicy scene.

What's next? The writing is pushed pretty far ahead, so I'm going to be catching up on renders and animations. I'm reaching a point where I will have to choose whether to release a November update or push through and extend the release window for a beefier update that finishes the current events. Let me know your opinion in the comments!
