You can't really call the pacing inconsistent. In the beginning the game pretty much shakes and rattles you by opening different challenges and plot lines for the MC to solve. So pretty much you have a somewhat hectic progression. During the middle of the game when the MC finally finds his bearing and starts to put the puzzle pieces together you can recognize how the plot lines and challenges start to converge and prioritize themselves. Although I might lean too far out of the window with that statement but you could compare it to Game of Thrones with how different characters have different issues and they all try to resolve/escape those at different paces.Soo after reading reviews I have a question. Is game story and pacing really that inconsistent ?

As you delve deeper into the story the pacing of the different plots start to align in their pacing as they either reach their conclusion or are tackled by multiple people together.
Different for each characters. With Lym you pretty much have a head start as due to the story you already have a somewhat longer history. For the other characters you have for each a different dynamic you go through. Is Romance same? from what read their is no build up
You get to choose, who will be sub and who will be the dom part.First time playing this, so far very interesting. Just had the Nyx scene where he got captured, is he getting revenge on her or is he a beta MC. The response from the MC directly after that at the gun range made me rage, how can he just ignore what happend.
Uhm, are you here solely for whining if the mc is not the ideal vessel to project yourself into him? He's a fresh graduate and as a first-time captain part of a two ship fleet going for an exploration. I'm pretty sure the MC has many thoughts about the different situations but iirc there are not that many monologues / thought introspections for us to actually map out his character completely. We do get enough choices to nudge the behaviour in a way that fits us most. The whole reaction from the MC after that incident is so underwhelming, Why does the MC blindly accepts it is just baffling.
I don't understand DEVs these days, hardly any one can write a critical MC anymore, must be the woke generation.
Desire of Fate, AlwaysFan, (AIRevolution), V.i.r.t.u.e.s., The seven realmscan u guys suggest something very similar to this. i enjoyed this game very much especially the nyx part. after completing it i actually was disappoint because the nyx scenarios had a lot of potential to continue with more weird slave master fetish stuff
I liked the beginning of her route better, when you could avoid her scenes. Since I have to choose between maledom and femdom, I don't like her route. You get to choose, who will be sub and who will be the dom part.
You can become her plaything, but ... why would you? ^^
I have already said that there are no choices in this game. The under arching story is really great, but the lack how the story goes considering your crew is vastly underwhelming.
The lack of choices regarding them is the real downfall of this game. I would have thrown Nyx out an airlock a long time ago,
such an arrogant cunt, and how he treats Lym is just very disappointing.
I warned you. Now An is getting turned into a smoothie. RIPI have already said that there are no choices in this game.
