So I know the game has a safe mode, this isn't about whether we have to see the scenes or not. That's not what I'm talking about at all. Just getting that out of the way first.

I'm just curious, why would a developer purposefully write in scenes about love interests fucking other people, when the game isn't explicitly about feeling cucked? Like it's completely your choice to write the story in a such a way that that scene occurs. You wanted to show that scene to your audience. For what purpose?

Because in the real world people have other relationships before they meet the MC. Sometimes in a story the MC has to steal away a love interest from someone else that they were previously dating. Other times in a story there is a risk that a LI will be with someone else but by your own choices in the game, you can make that not happen at all.

None of that is emasculating to the MC. None of it is even remotely NTR unless you are incredibly insecure.

She's not planned to officially become an LI until chapter 10 (The Dev has pre-written most of the chapters up through Ch15 I believe). What happens after that, no one knows. But considering that the Dev has specifically said there will not be NTR, then there is no reason to believe that she will be anything but faithful.

I'm not going to go into detail about what is or isn't NTR, as it's off topic and you need to do that research yourself anyway (I've given you one source already). However, I'll just say that NTR requires a very specific set of criteria which is absent from this VN. So you don't have anything to worry about. Just don't take everything in the worst possible way. You are interpreting the story you are being told, waiting for something bad to happen. Try to do the opposite, I don't know... maybe thinking happy thoughts?

You are looking at a single woman, in her forties, rich, powerful, with a very high sex drive, and zero fucks to give about anyone, and calling her a slut. Why? Because she likes sex? Don't you like it too? Are you fine in being called a slut?

I agree. Calling Parker selfish isn't accurate. A critical thing that a lot of people who dislike that scene leave out is that MC knows about Parkers extremely high sex drive and still respects and loves her. He was not put off in the slightest when he found her getting munched (or rubbing one out depending on your choices) on his birthday. So I think people are seriously overreacting to that scene. If MC didn't find it offensive, I don't know why some people are getting offended by proxy. IMO, such complaints come from insecurity.

Fell in love with the plot after my first playthrough honestly, I choosed the realistic route that being the relationship drama with the MC being unable to say no to his hero crush Moonsong losing his virginity to her, don't know how much Evelyn's route will change giving there was a break of trust a really common and I would say nearly unavoidable for a teen like imagine if Emma Watson(or a beauty you liked a lot) offered you a chance back in the day most would have ditched whatever they had without hesitation.

This relationship drama is fairly realistic and I see it as essential for my MC's story, also enjoyed the Lady Steel character quite a bit her snarkiness made mundane narrative moments far better, looking forward for more.
