I just discovered the game yesterday, but to me this whole thing with Parker seems to be using every shred of info, substance or other that she can to find a cure to stop all of this.

Personally I think she wants the opposite. Early on she complains about the company wasting 70% of their resources trying to find another vaccine to remove powers. I suspect she actually wants to find ways to give or evolve powers (though removing powers for people that get a bad one might also be a motive).

Nah, she still feels somewhat guilty over the guy who killed himself after having his super healing powers taken from him.
I can't see her working on something that would start that happening all over again.
Parker was quoting the board when talking about 'wasting' money. She was leaving to convince the Board to not defund the vaccine work and when Parker talks to MC after he returns from the HQ, he asks her about the Board's decision and she relays that not only will they not defund it, they will divert more money/effort to it -- i.e., she's pushing harder for work on the vaccine. Or at least, that's what she tells the MC. If you believe her, she's working on removing powers. It's possible that he's a guinea pig in her experiment for removing powers, since if you can de-power someone with every power it should work on everyone.

Ah, right. Had been a while since I played the first chapter so misremembered.
In that case, I do think she's interested in finding a vaccine, but likely not just a vaccine. Powers are effectively a curse for a lot of people that get crappy ones, so I can understand wanting to find a way to remove them for people that want to. But on the other hand that type of research may also tie in to modifying metagene in other ways.

Precisely. An optional vaccine for people like Amber or the girl that knocks out people around her could do a lot of good. But I think Parker comments at one point about the doctor who had his powers to heal by touch removed and later committed suicide, and seems quite regretful about that.
Now that I reviewed her comments about the vaccine budget, I do think she actually wants a vaccine. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if she's secretly funneling some of that funding to research involving evolving, controlling, or giving powers as well. That would be another reason that she's upset with the board for wanting to reduce it.

TL; DR, there is only one sex-scene that is "forced" because it is story relevant. If you don't like the scene then just ctrl skip through it.

Jericho85 This people just have to find always something to complain about, its worthless to argue with them really specially when they use that kind of tone and arguments, if something isn't 100% in conformity with their vision of things and what they deem to be the "right way" they always come to game threads and spew their incredible vision . They always could start doing their own visual novel but if even reading the OP and developer notes in this is a great effort from their part then imagine doing a AVN from scratch with all the work that entails hehehe.
Edit : By the way I just finished Origin Story yesterday and it is great so far and worthy to enter my favorite games list (now have to find a way to put it on my sig with characters limitations that exist hehe). My only little "con" is the lack of humor in chapter 6 compared with the ones before, maybe this was on purpose and a more serious tone in it was needed, but I noticed much less giggles and laughs from my part in the last chapter but still great humor overall.

Technically there are three forced scenes with the whore Moonsong.
The first one is when the player chooses to refuse her, but gets forced sex.
The second one is a visit to a fast food place with a mandatory dialogue that can't be skipped with ctrl, the player has to press all the buttons. There is no "end dialogue" option.
The third one is the second forced sex with meaningless point and click that can't be skipped with ctrl.
The author has made every effort to make all the scenes unskippable.
This is not a complaint, as you would like, it is a statement of fact.

Circling back to this same theory, I replayed some of the early game where Moonsong is first researching MC's power and a few of her comments stuck out to me. In her testing, MC's DNA latched on and merged with her DNA and not the other way around. This makes sense to me because MC's semen is on a "donor", not the other way around, so if there is a merging of DNA it makes sense that it occurs in the donor's body. When asked how this could transfer powers to MC, Moonsong compares it to how Todd can "imprint" on people by transferring his metagene DNA into them with a touch and that it's best to think about his metagene DNA as a tiny wireless transmitter. She also mentions specifically that MC's metagene DNA "harmonizes" with others.
So there's definitely some precedent there already where MC's metagene might be able to merge with someone's DNA that's been vaccinated and introduce the metagene into them, or as possibly hinted with Evelyn continue to evolve her power afterward since her DNA has been altered already at least a bit by MC's metagene.
