Not hardcore branches so far. Only major choices I can think of are whether MC keeps his promise to have his first time be with a particular girl, and I suppose what form you want a shapeshifter to take comes up later. Outside of that saying yes to things gives you more content.
the photographer thing might also be branching but hard to say. That might be the only way to get her power in the future but who knows.

Kinda? It doesn't do anything in your favor (yet) - that might change either way in this new update as we get to know Cat better. It prevents you from trying Cat's kitty (see what I did there?) but a beej is all you need....
