It's metagene DNA that's transferred and allows his ability to function. Technically you can find DNA in seminal fluid, but the vast majority is in the sperm cells. So it's not quite clear, but I'd suspect sperm is the main thing needed.I guess we just don't know if it's the swimmers, or the fluid. I'd think the fluid, since the swimmers are suspended in it. Who knows?!
What they were saying though is that pre-ejaculate only contains sperm for about 15-25% of men (and for the men it does, usually not in the same amount). So it might only have trace amounts of metagene DNA, and it's note quite clear if there's a critical threshold needed for his power to work. Clearly it's not a ton though if a pill contains enough.
