It's kind of funny how sensitive some guys are, just the need for a safe mode is borderline pathetic.
Also, the calls for realism come at really convenient times: we question the actions of a superhero underestimating a random nobody at a school toilet (which, im my opinion comes from a sense of superiority, arrogance or confidence that no student would be able to do her harm) but oversee the fact that mc was a nobody with no powers and instantly got to fuck two of the world's most famous/hot women, especially moonsong (before his power manifested), just because.

I myself was very surprised by the presence of this famous safe mode and by the developer's insistence on bringing it up in his game, as well as by the associated options in the game's settings. Besides, all that was needed was to introduce an option in certain scenes to allow the participation of an extra girl or not, no need for a whole preamble of pesky explanations and reminders that girls can be sexually active together - frankly, it's excessive. It's quite unheard of for a developer to make such a fuss over such trivial content in a game that's clearly aimed at a predominantly straight audience, it seems.

That said, the whole situation with Parker filling the role of a substitute mother figure to the MC but who can't be defined as the protagonist's real mother, while their mutual attraction has all the typical attributes of the incestuous relationship in AVNs, seems just as ridiculous and even a bit annoying at times. In any case, there are so many inconsistencies in the treatment and character development of the women in the game that you're not surprised by anything after a while, or even by the odd way some of the dialogue turns out.
It's pretty disappointing that the game fails to live up to my expectations of delivering a decent story, especially after a rather fun and promising exposition phase of a world of mutants with superpowers.

I mean, I can think of a couple other VNs that also parody or poke fun at the very very common incest trope in most VNs. The fact that literally every character in the game addresses Parker as MC's mom is kind of a running joke because she actually really isn't his mom and he's constantly reminding them of that. I personally get a kick out of it.

As far as safe mode, I get why the dev did it. At the beginning according to some earlier dev logs, Jaq did try hard to avoid upsetting certain F95ers who get very insecure over such things as future LIs who are currently single and sexually active. Safe Mode was a way to give them an out while also letting them know that he wasn't going to drastically alter the game or the characters for them... But then it became obvious that nothing would stop their bitching because they still got upset and cried "NTR" when that unnamed extra was getting spitroasted in the woods in CH2... in a porn game... So I doubt the dev will be bothering to calm the crybabies anymore going forward. The dev is going to make his game the way he wants, and IMO that's the way it should always be.

Nothing about the clone scene is anything close to NTR. NTR is when a romantically committed love interest is stolen away by an antagonist. Future LIs or otherwise uncommited single LIs do not count because they can't be "stolen away" since they're free to fuck anyone they want. That's why the scenario usually starts with the LI being a faithful wife or girlfriend, then antagonist/rival comes in and lures her away against MC's will. Nothing like that exists in this game.

I think the only LI that is truly romantically committed to MC right now is Evelyn. She's basically MC's girlfriend if you're on her path. So hypothetically if an antagonist either wooed her away from MC or blackmailed her into fucking him (etc...), then yeah that would be NTR.

I didn't think the clone scene was NTR. Just curious if Amber came in the room. I don't see NTR at all in this game.

Porn generally doesn't work nearly as hard to establish a connection with the characters, and also is very rarely as self insert as an AVN imo... it's very different. Also different mindset when approaching the media. I don't approach porn from a LI perspective at all, it's purely a voyeuristic thing.

Within the framework of most AVNs (and pretty much exclusively the ones I engage with) I am ostensibly the MC, and therefor I've no interest in seeing a LI engaged with someone else, even if they're not currently with MC. I don't think it's NTR or makes MC a cuck or anything stupid like that... I just don't have any desire to see a partner's past like that.

I'm married IRL and my wife was engaged before meeting me, I'm aware of that I've talked to her about her previous partners where relevant and don't have any jealousy towards those men, I still would be pretty upset (not at her, but just in general) if I stumbled upon videos or pictures of her with them from when they were together before I was even on the scene.

I do admittedly attach considerably more emotional significance to sex, and would never IRL have one night stands or flings or fwb or anything like that... I'm very much a sex = long term committed relationship type person (I realize not everyone is that way and I'm not making judgements of people who are more of a sex = enjoyable no strings activity types) due to that at a certain level of detail thinking about past romantic endeavors of a current LI/partner, gets me in my feels some kinda way, so I avoid that where possible.

For this reason while I have no issues with the LIs in this game having prior experience, or even going on dates/hookups etc before shacking up with the MC... I'd just rather not see it, and so I appreciate the existence of that option such as it is.

Well, the only way to've seen anything of the sort in this game to-date (that I found, not that I was looking) is to peek over a bathroom stall divider. If you did that and saw something that made you wish for eyebleach my sympathy is limited.

Exactly I didn't see nuthin' that I'd be bothered by. Most of the complainers are folks who are complaining about something they claim to dislike, but then compulsively click to view... I am not in that camp. I do appreciate an option to see her going to town on herself instead though, cause iirc, that's what happened in my playthrough.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of these jokes/allusions linked to the AVN universe; I understand that some people enjoy them, but they end up annoying me more than anything else by over-exploiting the same joke. I still don't understand why the developer felt compelled to make such a big deal about Parker, when he could have solved this very simple situation (patch or not) by simply making her a relative of the MC and the dilemma would have been solved, so to speak, without needing to make one about this character. In any case, that's my opinion: why overcomplicate things, when they could have been solved quite simply.

It's perplexing me, but I don't recall seeing the scene you're describing in the woods, despite having activated all of the options (except the safe mode of course). I just don't know it. And, yes, I completely agree with you about the sheer ridiculousness of people constantly complaining about NTR in games and holding "hostage" developers who don't give in to their whims; some of of them have become completely paranoid and see it everywhere, and it's enough to make you wonder if some of them don't fall into the realm of the pathological.

For the most part I'm kidding, it's humor, but honestly, some of them are almost creepy and should really consider seeing a therapist, if only to avoid screwing up their health. And I mean that in all seriousness, without malice; I think that in addition to their obvious frustrations, isolation is undoubtedly one of the causes of their problems.
I have personally experienced mental health problems, as have close friends. It's important to recognize their presence, and perhaps to listen to the neutral, outside opinions of a professional if we find it difficult to confide in those closest to us. Recognizing the problem, and then seeking help, is the first step towards recovery. And if sometimes you don't succeed completely, it helps you to cope better with the problem.
