Susan looks pretty normal for a woman her age, probably around the same age as MC. It would be bad if she was the main interest, obviously, but one of the strengths of the game is that it's somewhat realistic.

Melinda looks far better, there are 35-40 years old good looking women too.
No denying that. Susan just plays the role of a foil, a standard woman MC isn't really interested in to make the prospect of D/Melinda/others sweeter. It'd be stupid if she returned and MC had to get back together with her for those who dismissed her, but I doubt that'll happen.
