Amazing storytelling that perfectly captures the sentiment of being torn between the past, the present, and the duality we often feel when stuck in social loopholes - both with the group of friends, and the main characters. EvaKiss just doesn't know how to disappoint!

I would love to see some pregnancy in Evakiss games, but not even from a sexual standpoint. But more of a well-written story perspective.
Like characters having to deal with unplanned pregnancies, trying to get your shit together so you can provide for a family. That sort of thing.
Like there are a lot of games on f95zone that has pregnancy, but 99% of them are so shallow/uninteresting.

This game is great, would love some pregnancy stuff also. I know its for story reasons, but sometimes I feel frustrated when the character changes back and forth.

Does the final version add more content after the beta version ?
Really depends. Usually, it's just typo/minor code issues fixes, but considering that v0.3 Beta was released so quickly without fixing bugs, Final will most likely fix them. Also, last time for v0.2 the Beta expanded a couple of scenes while v0.3 Beta didn't, so it's possible there will be updated content in the 0.3 Final.

This is meant to be an improvement on GGGB but I find it too similar, in particular too many clearly recycled characters and drawings so I feel like I've played this already before.
In addition playing two characters at the same time sounded good at first but I find it makes me actually lose my interest in them as it gets diluted.

I'll give it another chance with one more update but otherwise good luck and I'm jealous a bit that I can't enjoy it as much. Maybe I'll replay GGGB once more :)
Although I enjoy most of the game, I can understand your feeling. It's understandable that of course ORS is similar to GGGB since it's the same kind of game and from the same dev and it's also understandable/not surprising/common for a dev to recycle some of their assets like other game studios reusing their graphic engine.
Maybe you need something drastically different for you to enjoy and not feel like you've already played it. I know because I used to play a lot of RPG Maker games and after a few years, I tend to grow bored very easily as it feels like I'm basically playing the same game, as if it was copy pasted. Sometimes it's not even just the genre but the artist/dev like Nomo for exemple, I loved Noxian Nights but then I grew bored of Kingdom of deception so fast ... maybe I could give it another try after such a long time.
According to the reactions you received, some people seem to not be very open minded about different opinions especially since you showed good spirit in willing to try it a bit more.

At the beginning Jeremy's design was a lot like Kevin's in GGGB, but I decided to change him and make him black to have a more racially diverse cast. Besides, Tyrone was one of the most popular characters in GGGB, but he was a walking stereotype. This time I wanted Jeremy to be defined by more than just his ethnicity, hopefully creating a more intricate and believable
Oh and on another topic ... some of you kept talking about how Eva Kiss wanted to create a more "realistic" story, right ?
Well, overall yes (and I highly appreciate it) but there's that one aspect that is such a shameful cliché and I failed to find anyone complaining about how "realistic" it was (totally not ironic)
Ah yes, Jeremy ... that lovable guy, right ? So, not only Eva wanted to make him less like a walking stereotype like Tyrone (by making him the only black man and who's of course hung like a horse fucking around all those white women) but she also didn't want him to be defined by more than his ethnicity ? How ? Making him black for the sake of diversity ? Well in that case, why not more ? As of yet, there's only caucasian characters with one minor asian male character, one minor black female character and one major black male character.
He is : a black man, tall, muscular, into fighting sports, better than the MC on many aspects that would be considered "manly", a womanizer, and the cherry on top is his obvious big dick that the female MC can wet her panties over at first sight ... Yeah ... totally not a walking bag of stereotype, amirite ? He's only missing his rap music and black friends to run a train on the white ladies ... At least, Tyrone had more depth aside from all the cliché surrounding him.
Let's define him for what he truly is, he's the token black guy here only to fulfill the BBC fantasy. So, where are you, Knights of the Holy Realism, when will you shout "MUH REALISM" to rally your fellow warriors ? :ROFLMAO:

I'm waiting to get flamed on and told how wrong I am  Come at me guys (y)

Other than that ... I loved Ch.3 and I surprisingly enjoyed being wrong on a few things I thought after playing Ch.2 (Robert's behavior which is now clear to me that he's completely despicable) and about Ch.3 sneak peaks, I was very surprised to see Lena dressing up to meet Mr. Ward who's a very interesting and intriguing character (on top of his interest for philosophy which is already a topic I enjoy).
I loved Holly/Ian/Lena interactions (if we don't get the option to make a polyamorous couple with them, I'll be very disappointed because I'd like to make it my canon version of the story).
I also loved the interaction with Cindy although sad to have to choose between her or Holly ... I'd like to "protect" her against potential predators.
Not so much with Allison, I thought better although she didn't do anything wrong to be fair but I didn't expect her to "open" herself that easily to anyone showing her interest (that's what you learn if you don't go with her the first time but meet her the second time).
Can't wait to know Minerva's real reason for hating Ian, she clearly hides something, it's very obvious after you confront her.
Worried about Axel's motivation concerning Cindy.
Very curious about Mr. Ward and what he's planing.
And lastly, it was very entertaining to see the last scene with Ian, Jeremy, Lena and Ivy, I cannot wait to see how Jeremy (and Louise ) will react to this. I'm guessing we'll have to choice (as Lena) to tell Louise or not and I think it's going to impact future decisions.
Another month of patience until Ch.4 !
Have a good one, guys and sorry for such a long post.

Obligatory response saying how wrong you are. Seriously though, you're right about Jeremy but I just don't find him interesting enough to care about whether he's stereotypical or not. Apparently you gotta satisfy that BBC-longing crowd, so you do what you gotta do... Making him Ian's buddy adds interesting dynamics though. I think Cherry is a better-written racially diverse character anyway. She feels like a girl first and is less fetishized (despite the mention of her full lips).

I'm not sure about all that though I hear your irritation, but hopefully Evakiss goes more into detail about Jeremy. Perhaps explain why Jeremy went from being more of a nerdy guy to a stereotypical player. I've heard stories from some black guys that this was the path they were pressured to go down in order to have a chance with girls, and they were a bit conflicted about it. Embellishing this or something similar would help make Jeremy's character a little more multi-dimensional.

yeah jeremy is really a cliché, even if it's just about to be "that one black friend of the white male protagonist".
i don't get the BBC thing anyway. i mean i like some dark chocolate in my porn games, too. but usually that should be covered with the interracial kink, don't know why it has to be BBC then. i guess it's an american thing.

in chapter 3 when the teaser from eva got released that lena would wear new clothes, i totally didn't expected it to be for ward. so far i really like where it is going with him and eva trying to make him be a more complex character. although he came off as petty and vain, trying to impress with philosophers to a to-be-model, which makes for a well defined character though. funnily enough, as i saw the option for marx i had to scoff, like he did, but also when he mentioned nietzsche.

and as you i really hope we get the possibility for a polyamorous relationship for lena ian, and so holly seems to fit right in.

i'm not so sure about cherry not being a fetishized character. she is the lean athletic girl, there are a lot of guys into fit-girls. and like i said above, interracial is not only about having a black guy in it

I'm surprised that you didn't see Eva Kiss flip a bird :p It's very hard to balance all the relationships as it is. If you choose Alison over Cherry, then you can't have Cherry; If you choose Alison over Lena, then you let Holly down as well; if you choose to pursue Cindy then you let Holly down once again etc. The game clearly tells you that you can't have it all. Jeremy tried, look where it got him.
One can only dream.

yeah, you are
Dream big or go home is that not the saying?

Character design (Seymour)

There were no "villains" in GGGB, but I'd say Arthur was pretty close. And he was one of the most popular characters... He was selfish and depraved, but his interest was fairly simple and straightforward: to do selfish and depraves things to Ash and Iris.

For ORS I wanted the characters to move the plot forward in a more significant way. I wanted there to be actual villains. And as I was plotting the story and themes, two characters I had conceptualised merged into one: Seymour Ward. He's intelligent, and ambitious, he has something that the main characters want, and he has his own agenda, one that benefits only him. And most of all, he has power. That's what Arthur lacked: while he was a simple middle-class widower, Seymour is on top of the mountain. And he's there for a reason.

You'll learn more about him as the game progresses, but so far his appearances have been very fun to write. I'm pretty pleased on how he turned out as a character and I can't wait to use him in the many scenes that are already on my mind. I hope you enjoy interacting with him, opposing him, profiting from him or even helping him achieve his goals...
In D&D speaks, I think Seymour will be a Lawful Evil type of a character. Someone who plays by the rules but without mercy or compassion. Someone who cares about tradition, loyalty, and order but not about freedom, dignity, or life.

I believe Eva will not write him just as an "evil" character. He'll be complex, I reckon.

His and Mr. van Dyke's routes will be the first ones I will play. I always go for the mature men in these types of games.

Actually his probably more of a neutral evil or chaotic evil because he espouses Nietzsche and praises Lena if she says she is the child.

Meh. So what if she's lean. Cindy is lean, Ivy is lean, Lena is lean as well. They take care of their visual appearance and make sure their body is perfect, especially if they want to be in the model industry. I see no race fetish here but rather a character trait. Overused maybe but that's another topic. So far she's written as a regular pretty girl with a nice personality who happens to be black in contrast to Jeremy who is a black guy with a large dick first, at least when it comes to interaction with Lena.
