Ian is not in love with Louise, he is interested in her since she slid into his dms and seems desperate, but not in love. Louise you can say is in love, but she has always gotten attached fast. Happened with both Jeremy and Lena. Personally I'd say she is in love with the idea of a guy like Ian giving her attention, especially over Lena.
Even so, I think the threesome should be a requirement. That Ian only has to tell her that he likes her style and her favourite shitty movies it's kind of crazy. Maybe the threesome with Jeremy if Lena hogs his cock to establish some motivation or Louise peeking at Lena and Ian fucking, Stan style.
