I feel we can predict that there will be more Cindy sex scenes though.Possible. I still think the whole Cindy Route is really unpredictable at this Point and I'm excited to see which direction it goes. I mean it's still a Game and Cindy ignoring Ian for the next 2-3 Chapters feels like a waste of time but it also would be realisitic after what happened. I'm just really curious how a possible full IanxCindy Route or even Relationship will happen.
I'd be really surprised if Ian can't win Cindy in the end, but the details of getting to that point is of course hard to predict, like you say.
A thought: Could he be military against his family's wishes? Lena is very vocal about avoiding violence, I have no idea if this is a topic Eva is interested in, but could Lena's family be pacifists who disapproved of the son joining the troops?Spike is Lena's brother, and if the condition for Lena's mother is serious enough that her father had to imediatelly call her to come back home, then its very likely he would also try to reach out to his son, even if they are estranged. Also illness of a parent is basically a cliché at this point when it comes to the return of a prodigal son.
Now as to what Spike's return will mean to the story is what people are speculating:

Mother's dialogue would make sense with a soldier son who was on a tour of duty and he could be estranged because he differs from them politically. He could even be a more conservative kind of character and therefore serve as a character that judges Lena's possible promiscuity and choice of relationships. That could be dramatically interesting.
