Right because making him a possible option for Lena's affection over the honest crap writing and characters of Robert, Jeremy, Mark, Louise, and Geymour makes complete sense and is worth a rework just to make him appealing, while Ian and Holly are the best options for Lena. Waste of time and update if you ask me. Meanwhile Ivy continues to get the shaft and bashed and neglected. Honestly, Jessica from GGGB got SOME content early on with Ash and finished strong. Ivy? Nada. -smh-
Maybe Eva should rework Robert as well and not make him such a desperate wannabe fuckboi that wants a pussy free pass for "saving" Lena. Or how bout addressing Jeremy and his cheating and him and Louise talk shit out rather than bring it up after calling his stupid fucking wannabe player ass out and then promptly rewarding him with a possible half a blowjob by Ivy. Or maybe actually give Ivy the content and interactions that she/Ian/Lena deserve. We're damn near 10 chapters in and all we have from her is said half a blowie, half a threesome with Holly and Lena, teasing pics yet no actual sex or passionate embraces. Yet all we are getting is Eva trying to make her out to be a disloyal friend who, according to some delusioned people, "trying to manipulate Lena to get back with Genetic German Rapy Axelz" and make Holly be a corrupt little dolly and other obnoxious bullshit.

The new trend of giving completely unspecific estimates like "hopefully we can get everything done soon" together with the rebranding of the weekly status reports (which haven’t been weekly for a long time, I think) to "Development news" are probably very smart to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on themselves. But yeah, some people might still get unrealistic expectations…

I just discovered this game and already became a Patron. Glad to support such an awesome developer and I am on chapter 2 and already in love with the game. I joined the Eva Kiss discord as well. Hope to see some of you there!

If Eva thinks Stan is worth it, then it is so, because what some people can't seem to realize, Eva wants to write what she likes. Writing something you don't enjoy is what truly not worth it. And no novel of decent quality has been written "first try", without multiple revisions or rewrites of chapters or even entire storylines.

Going back on the rewrite not only am I curious about Stan's reworked path but all the other stuff I'm sure she has retouched. It's gonna be fun spending some time tracking all the subtle and not-so-subtle changes everywhere. I hope Louise gets some significant ones too. Wonder if Eva changes anything on Ian's side of the story. I feel like it's the most balanced part atm.
The one thing I really see myself hoping for is for more casual events. Romantic dates or activities between LI is always welcomed.

Much like Jeremy's infidelity and his and Louise's relationship. But nope. It's glossed over entirely and Small Dick gets promptly rewarded for it the same night. But what do I know as a writer myself. -Shrugs-
Trying to make every character matter in the story is going to fuck her even more in the future, Stan should remain on sidelines, as a simp/cuck side activity where you can show him some exclusive content for $$$. Same with Robert, just a sidefuck like whatever that jock guy's name was in GGGB.
Instead of trying to make everyone matter it's better to make some characters shine more than others if your writing style is "go with the flow and see where it takes me". Now, since she's spent so much time on revamping Stan, she has one more character to fit in the grand scheme of things. Sunk cost fallacy.
Ultimately I do not care, nor I have any urge to tell someone how to write their own game, but it's like Eva forgot the lessons from writing GGGB and has to discover complex story pathing yet again. At this point either she narrows down or she's gonna end up with a convoluted clusterfuck, unable to progress, which could already be the case, at least to some degree considering she's doing a revamp in the middle of the story that no one has asked for.
