The title is a reference to the Red String of Fate, an ancient Chinese or Japanese (I don't remember which) belief that people who are destined to find love and marry each other are bound by an invisible red cord. The cord can become tangled and bind with other cords, but will never break, so these cords can create a great web of fate at times. Hence why all these characters lives are interconnected and they seemingly keep running into each other even when they don't plan too.

We're seeing a snapshot of Lena and Ian's lives. Perhaps they have a red cord that binds them, or perhaps their red cords just got tangled with each other the night they met in that ally. How we play them will likely determine that, but for now they are bound by fate to at least be near each other.

I appreciate the explanation regarding the title, I didn’t know that.

I realize that many enjoy the freedom of this game, but in my opinion the theme of the story just becomes muddled when 90% of the content is both of them sleeping around, so the game seems to guide you in that direction

Well keep in mind we're playing a half finished game. While we can infer the theme of the game being the red string that ties them together, the goal hasn't come into focus yet. Just about everything we've experienced so far is build up, now that we're entering the backhalf of the game we'll start seeing the payoffs.

I'd say the intention is more of the former, given the name of the game is "string" and not "stringS". But overall, yes. That's how i'd interpret it, too.

I would also assume the former more than the later. It's clear that the love life of both Ian and Lena are intrinsically tied to each other, even if they end up not getting together in the end. Part of the Red Thread of Fate though is that the knots and ties of others can keep us from reaching the person on the other end of our string.

Don't think too much about the title. The story follows 2 protagonists whose lifes are intertwined, that's it. It would be boring if they didn't sleep around and always end up together.

I still can't believe Billy was turned into blonde white guy. I know Eva had a change of mind, but he really was very promising black skinned character - no ghetto bullshit, no cliche black career (like rapper/gang member/basketball player etc.), no monstrous sized dick and no "blacked" personality (AYO THEM WHYTE GIRLS DO BE KINDA BAD THO).

Career oriented owner/manager of a modelling company, focused on making good life for himself and also getting access to some prime pussy as a perk of the job. Would be a good option for Lena with multiple different plays (going just for his dick/going for his dick and working together to boost her modelling career or going full way as a romantic and business partner with open relationship where they both build their modelling empire and scout/hire and fuck new girls on the side).

Much more interesting character than Jeremy which still, halfway through the game, has literally nothing going for him outside of being black and having big dick. Maybe he's gonna have some good story arc later in the game, like blowing up in the MMA world and becoming renown fighter. Right now he's worst of two worlds - Eva didn't make him that cliche black sex obsessed alpha male (which is shallow, but fun - it's a porn game after all), but also didn't give him any relevance really.

I don't know what prompted the change (maybe others here do), but I thought maybe Eva has plans to create potential threesomes with Billy and Jeremy and Eva wanted to avoid repeating the Blacked-style gangbangs from GGGB.

To be fair, Jeremy manages all right without Ian's help. He has Louise, is making progress with Ivy, and it's up to the player (not Ian) whether or not Lena has any sexual interest in him.

The last update was hyped up so much about how complex it was and when it finally was released, unfinished mind you, there really wasn't anything too complex about it.

- Lena and Ian being in relationship or not made for near identical routes with the only difference being that they can have threesome with other people if they weren't committed.

- Lena and Ian's story had three consistent branches between Ian, Mike or Stan. And what little scenes with other people they had was pretty removed from impacting the couple (Ian and Cindy for example really didn't make for a big difference).

- Lena's Boss content was cut out and EvaKiss talked about a "really complex scene" involving Ian and his work which is nowhere to be found in the game.

if there will be GGG remake or remaster or rewhatever I think the graphics last things should be works on as good story game and have alot of good points and ideas the story first things to be better and add the missing parts when I read it feel there things missing and add more year after the couple ending for example Jessica how she will end up in ORS or the relationship fall ...etc anyway I am really will give full support if someone start working on that and I dont want eva work on it best she should continue on ORS because things become takes longer and longer with every release... only eva give guides to who she trust who will work on that project .

Where is your confusion with Jess? All three of her outcomes in ORS can be explained by an ending in GGGB.

Bad Jess in ORS never was "saved" by Ash in GGGB, the bad ending for Jess shows that she isn't able to overcome her lifestyle and she continues to use sex to get by. Which is why Ian can find porn of her.

Good Jess has two branches. Either she continues having a relationship with Ash, or if Ash and Eva hooked up or Eva gets corrupted leaving Dave available, Jess enters a relationship with him. It's established in all playthroughs that Jess has a thing for Dave because he is an artist and she shares that in common with him. Which also brings us to why Jess is a tattoo artist in ORS regardless of if she is good or bad, because it's something she is passionate about.
