I think they're referring to how Ian will have internal monologue about Louise not looking as hot as Lena and some other girls, and also rate her sexual prowess as somewhat lacking, compared to others he's been with. These are hardcoded remarks and can be indeed perceived as rather smug/mean, but i kind of like that they make the whole thing more grounded, in a way. It's pretty rare in porn games to explicitly "rate" character appearances and outright declare some are middling instead of super-hot.
I've been trying to avoid this thread due to spoilers but wtf is Eva's beef with Louise?! Is she based on a real friend she had a falling out with or something? First when I try to have Lena be interested I her she just talks about using her instead and it happens with Ian too? WTF!

I'm curious to see what comes of Victor, and how he plays into the morality of the story. He's clearly the anti-Seymour option to Ian's literary career. But does failing the publishing minigame actually result in anything different with him? It didn't seem to on my loser Ian run, which is the route I would have purposefully failed the publishing check, or in the case of Victor made the morally right decision about publicizing works of passion.
The "publishing minigame" refers to back when Ian could approve book proposals that one time, right? What ended up being the correct choices there anyway?

Perry harem is coming true.

1st and 3rd book are the correct choices to reject 2nd and 4th are the ones to approve to get a promotion. But I didn't notice a difference in dialogue, from Victor, if Ian reversed those choices. So there seemingly isn't a way to stick to your morals here as doing the "morally correct" thing doesn't offer a difference from what I can see, other than just not getting a promotion.

The outcome is a bit more complicated than we initially presumed:

* approving book 2 or 4 earns Ian a point each
* approving book 1 or 3 decks Ian a point each
* you get 1 "free" point, or 2 "free" points if Ian's Wits are at least 8, or 3 points if his Wits are 9+

You need 3+ points total to get promoted.

oh this is really good to know, I've always been going with 2,3,4 and was confused the one time Clark got the W over me. Must have had lower Wits that run.

Oh cool so you can get promoted if Ian's a smart boy, even if you just approve all the four books shotgun approach. "One of these are bound to be good!" Furiously stamps them all.

Me too always go for 3 and 4. But now book nr 2 say something like "this author is a good seller".

I wish the player had the option to influence the appearance of girls Ian is "romancing" similar to how the player can choose Lena's clothes and tattoos during gameplay. If I had the know-how of Python and/or the artistic skills, I'd give it a go modding the game to do so...

Hi everybody, does anyone have at hand a save where Alison is your main LI?

(Preferably from chapter 12, but 11 is also fine.)

We prefer vanilla -haters, confer my signature, lol. I'd rather say it's the route the easily bored might've hated, but imho EK have pulled it off actually, interesting enough even for me, and I avoid "romance" routes worse than the NTR-phobic.
Well who am I to talk? I love NTR in other games as a good f95 user (God knows how much I love Seeds of Chaos). But as EK's eye says, Ian is the player's self-insertion.

In my case probably because in real life being with a girl like Cindy or Holly is a frustrated dream and Chad Ian is the person I've tried to aspire to with frustration. I also play Axel with Lena just for morbid curiosity. Now, the reality of people who enjoy seeing their Ian humiliated as a cuck... well, it's all subjective.

I have some Chapter 12 and 13 saves from the last update/build. Far as I recall, the only girls I had Ian "romance" outside of Lena are Allison and Cindy.
