Ah you're right. I misremember and got mixed up. I made Lena reject him cause I was on no cheating route on my last playthrough. Alright now you make me want to play another route lol.

Well, my friends, with each update, I'm more convinced of one thing: creating two protagonists was 'biting off more than they could chew'.

I do think it probably would have been better if the game only has one playable protagonsit, and that is Lena. But were it that the case, then title Our Red Strings probably would make less sense...?

Who the hell gives a shit about Ian's work. The guy can fuck most of the female cast even when having a job not considered glamorous. His work, like Lena's, is there to give him some money and to tie him up with seymour's story not to make him cool.

But to create a game like this where all of the work of being writer is totally separate from the game play is the issue. Lena's work as a model is directly related to her game play. This is not the case for Ian.

Can you explain why you think Lena's work is directly related to her game play but Ian's isn't, when their respective works both tie them to other characters, most notably Seymour and, in case of Ian, Holly?

Try two years. We are going to get Lena back home with some ian sprinkled in for this chapter, likely wrapping at some point late summer. Then a chapter for mostly ian, likely wrapping spring/summer ‘26. Then likely the beach event. That chapter might wrap in 2027!

The previous chapter plus this recent start of of chapter 13 took just about a year.
