Its the players who complain that Cindy cheats on him with Axel, when Ian himself likely fucks around as well and isn't commiting. Except for the odd player who made Ian loyal to Cindy, but didn't chose the crucial wits option in chapter 12.

Despite his words, Ian is a bit miffled that Cindy is also fucking Axel, in his ideal world she would only pay attention to him. But as he points out, he is in no position to call her out.

It's the same when Lena gets with Robert, and Ian is still laying pipes everywhere. He gets irritated there too. Ian not liking Robert and Axel is hardcoded, but it's very hypocritical from Ian's side when he's in a casual relationship and acts like a total tool.

If he was dating Alison at the same time, he breaks up with her in favor of Lena. Alison won't make a move on Ian anymore.
However, if he wasn't dating Alison or dropped her early on (by fucking Emma), then Alison will make a move on him in chapter 11 and he can cheat on Lena.
