How u get slut holly make a move on Ian in the beach house? I already tried breaking up with Lena and sleeping in the room with Wade, but it seems I can’t trigger the scene. I remember in a save file I had a long time ago, I was able to activate the event if I broke up with Lena at the beach, and then Holly would come to comfort me, triggering the scene. Afterwards, the relationship between Holly and Lena would lose points because Lena finds out about it
As long as 1. Holly is a slut and 2. Ian isn't with Lena or Emma, she should always make a move on him.

/edit: You also need high relationship points with Holly. And compliment her at the beach (lust or fit option).

Lena/Stan is objectively flawed. Lena is allegedly attracted to him and the game didn't gave one single reason why. At least with casual hookups like Robert or John its explained and the love interests are explained just by their physique. Stan has nothing.
I kinda miss old Stan even though I just found out about him not too long ago. Why did Eva even decide to change him? Maybe Patreons couldn't self insert effectively :cautious:

I never got to see what old Stan was like personality-wise. I remember someone posted his old look once and he looked way better back then. But yeah, I don’t really get why people are into the whole Stan and Lena thing now. Stan just feels super creepy. He acts like a stalker and he is a voyeur, which is definitely not my vibe.

He barely talks to her but somehow he’s in love with her, which is kind of weird and off. He takes every little nice thing she says like it means she’s into him. He really seems totally out of touch.

It’s a shame he’s not a more normal or balanced guy. Lena really needs better male options around her. Besides Ian, there’s basically no one, and that just makes it look like he’s the only male “good” choice for her. That kinda feels silly to me.

That's what happens when the fan base demands the game dev to create content for themes they aren't interest in. Maybe she hit a creative wall but Eva definitely half-assed his arc one way or the other. She could have written him as an asexual/gay guy and it would have been a hundred times better than what we have now.

While chliche, its spot on for many mother daughter relationships. Mothers overbearing and daughters rebellious, both being to prideful and selfrighteous. Molly's advice is pretty spot on and she is a good second mother for Lena.

Lena's mother always strikes me as an older version of Lena, someone she will become if she doesn't fix her life: Attractive and talented but unable to properly adjust and get a steady life. Ultimately miserable, since she spent her youth fucking assholes only to end up with a meek, boring nice guy.

Not only mother daughter relationship. Female friendship is rarely portrayed as wholesome in fiction. Your friends either want you to have hook ups or they are your rivals for male attention. I rarely see best friends as a true besties who want to see you married and have a family or actually with you in difficult times. Everyone is a friend when you have money to wine, dine and party but as soon you have problems, they are nowhere to be seen.

That's why I miss old Stan, he was a more balanced guy. I've been upset by his change since it happened and it's not gotten much better in subsequent updates. His biggest use is for Lena to manipulate him, similar to Robert, with her stalkfap.

Old Stan was still awkward, but was a good dude. For example he offers to cook breakfast for Lena as an introduction, rather than get caught taking pictures of Lola. When Lena invites him to the gala, he did genuinely want to look good for it. He just didn't have a good sense of fashion. Louis, of all people, commented that, they (her and Lena) would work with him on his fashion. So his glow up arc was set to start much earlier. Also, while Louis was still shallow and didn't like Stan, she was less outright hostile with him; as can be seen from my previous statement. So there was a chance for Lena to play matchmaker with them, since Jeremy is kind of a POS to Louis.

Similarly, Lena wouldn't shy away from his awkward behavior, she would acknowledge it, but had better social intelligence about navigating through it and recognizing that Stan usually meant well. He was less a sweaty overweight loser, and more just kind of out of shape nerd. Something that modern Stan is finally addressing, but again his glow up arc was set to start earlier in his previous incarnation. He was, for most intents and purposes, to Lena what Holly is to Ian. Stan became a simp and Holly became bisexual so that Lena could share her. Edit: I was wrong here, there is sexual tension almost immediately. I just didn't remember Holly that well from her earlier incarnations.

Holly was bisexual since the game started, her route with Lena was evident right away.
I don't remember that being the case, or at least ever explicitely stated by the game. I remember there were some talks about her potentially being bi, because of how well she and Lena hit it off. But I'll admit, I wasn't giving Holly a lot of attention during the early days of development. She wasn't nearly as interesting to me then as a lot of the other love interests that were dynamic in their appearance. But I can play through the old version again, and I'll pay closer attention. It's actually been awhile since I've played the game with the prior to the overhauls.

Edit: Nope, there is definite sexual tension between the two almost off the bat. I'm an idiot ignore me.

Holly and Cindy have certainly benefited the most from further development time, whereas most of the other love interests have remained rather static since their initial incarnations. Stan and Ivy have had a backwards slide in my opinion, even if some would argue that Ivy's change has been better for the narrative.

Why are you guys talking about the bi-thing like it's in her nature before Lena and Ivy take an interest in experimenting with her? I thought her interest in the other girls at the beginning was designed clearly as part of her social-type and wish to be more extroverted and sexual with the lezzing out scenario as the classic-ish trope of confusing aspiration with admiration. It was also tied with her crush on Ian and trying to become interesting to him.
Doing a replay of the first few chapters for the first time in three years, it's amazing how much the phone conversations between Lena and her mom are cut and pasted from the "raised by narcissists" reddit.

Not any specific posts, but it's clear Eva just took the various cliches from the narcissist mom posts on reddit and mixed them together into the phone conversations.
Thanks for sharing. I'm always impressed by how EK research their stuff. It's more dedicated than trying to wing it and more realistic than trying to become experts. On the other hand, it may well be that you've found the sources of AI-aided search:unsure:

The self-insert on Stan thing never made much sense to me because when loser basement dwellers play these types of adult VNs, they don't usually project themselves onto it as they are, but rather in a power fantasy way, imagining themselves as the handsome Chad who fucks any woman who breathes (just look at 2/3 of the games on this site), so this being the explanation as to why Eva's patrons love Stan so much never really sat right with me.

I don't think it's a self insert type of thing. I think it's a further extension of the power fantasy. Rather than being the loser simp, they have a loser simp to look down on. Usually the power fantasy is taking the girl away from some other dude, usually one that very clearly doesn't deserve the girl he has. Not so with Stan, just someone to look down on and be a punching bag, not so much for the characters but for the players. Although EK has given a lot of good reasons for the characters to hate Stan too.

The funny thing is though, with Stans "rework" is that nothing changed with him. He was still the shy, awkward person he is now as he was then. The only things that were changed were asking him to the Gala. Nothing else with his character was altered or changed to make impact.

I think a large part of it is that there aren't really many porn games where the incel loser is even featured, much less being featured as the women magnet with multiple ROs falling for his questionable charms. So this is a rare game where they can have this power fantasy as actual "themselves".

Could you please tell me how to reach this flag? I’ve gone through the entire walkthrough, and for Lena to be able to date Mark, Holly needs to not be dating him. But at the same time, Holly needs to get the “encourage Holly: [hooking up, voyeur, incite her]#314” tag. How can I fulfill both conditions at the same time?

I would argue that's incorrect. Stan's introduction used to be him cooking breakfast, then offering to make some for Lena as well. Now it's him taking an unsolicited picture of Lola. He and Lena spent more time bonding over his job, being able to work from home or really anywhere. A discussion that he initiated, and not Lena trying to probe it out of him. That immediately makes him a far more endearing character. Especially since it makes him comparable to Ian and later a contrast to Robert and Axel. It also sets up Stan as wanting to be more than he is, mentioning he's lonely sitting in his room all day, but that he usually isn't given a chance, as we learn through Louis, seemingly because of his appearance.

Those changes, along with the aforementioned gala changes, makes it clear that Stan was heading in a different direction. Certainly there were still potential traces of Stan's more voyeueristic and creepy personality, the panty theft plot point still existed after all. But those personality traits were not at the forefront of his character, like they are now.

Woah boy. This one took me a while to achieve. But thanks to BlandChili and ffive I got it. Basically you want to have Holly be at exactly holly_change=3 when she meets Mark at the nightclub also you should have Lena protect Holly from Ivy when Ivy suggests dating Mark. When Mark is talking with Holly at the club don't interrupt them. Holly will afterwards ask Lena and Ivy if she should go with Mark. Choose to let Holly decide for herself. She will consider seeing Mark but not that night. This leaves Mark free for Lena to dance with and suck his cock in the bathroom. You will later receive a text from Mark. Express interest in him. Also encourage Holly to sleep with Mark in chapter 11 when she calls you. At the end of chapter 11 accept Mark's invitation and sleep with him. You can then date Mark in chapter 13 and arrange a threesome with Holly. Godspeed Hermano! Feel free to ping me if you run into any hiccups.

To some measure, sure. I'd certainly argue EK could have had Stan be a more unique character and not some a troupe of some after mentioned basement dwelling incel. He could have a decent guy who is decent looking (and not the stereotypical looking fat nerd) entirely wholesome yet awkward as hell around women, being flustered yet not make him out to be a creepy voyeur. Hell, same could be said for Jeremy. She could have had him be a chill guy trying to find love and questioning his relationship with Louise in some manner and not the proto-typical black guy troupe found in every porn/fanfic imaginable.

There are alot of things that EK could have done differently, had she both the imagination and actual backbone to stick with it of course. But as for now, Stan is pretty much a entirely forgettable character who has and adds no impact to the story other than possible cheap alternatives to some measure of things. Pretty much on par with Mike and Robert in that department.

This isn't, at least how I'm choosing to look at it, a discussion about what could have been for Stan throughout the multiverse. I'm talking about what he actually WAS and how that incarnation of the character could have developed. Obviously all we can do is speculate, as that incarnation didn't last long. But I think would have made for a more interesting storyline, a better self insert for the archetype who Stan is supposed to represent, and fixed the issue that Lena doesn't really have a decent male LI outside of Ian; but only if the player chooses to make Ian a decent character.
