Chapter 14.1 Status Report (10)

These days I’m still rushing to get as much of the chapter done as I can before September. I’ve been testing the script, finishing up art assets, and writing the final beats all at once, so I barely have time for anything else, including going into detail with status reports.
The hardest part has been weaving together all the possible permutations and branching scenes, since these kinds of events, spanning several consecutive in-game days with a wide cast of characters, are especially complex, compared to isolated scenes with just two or three people. On top of that, I want to take full advantage of everything this narrative arc has to offer, and make sure each scene is packed with as much artwork as possible so it doesn’t feel sparse or flat.

That’s all I’ve got for this report, so I’ll leave you with a little sneak peek and get back to work: it never stops! The release is getting closer, and I can’t wait. I’ll do my best to make it as complete, polished, and satisfying as possible!

Is there a particular thing you guys expected the game to have by now and that was teased as a possibility not just your hope?

For me, I was really shocked that there was no Lena POV during beach. I was under the impression she would at least have some conversations with Wade or we would see her riding Holly's face, maybe even teasing Perry somehow.

Oh mate there are so many. This game is basically the most artful disappointment in the History of this industry. But if I had to pick one, that would be vanilla Ian/Lena in a MFM threesome.

My guess is that just as Jess, the identity of Gillian's boyfriend will not be cannon and vary depending upon which path you are on. On the cuck path I am pretty sure it will be Mike though.

That's because the stuff you downloaded was a patreon preview, so the game hasn't actually really updated to 14.1 yet, but whomever mods this thread just applied the version number of the latest available version. Since the preview for 14.1 still is 14.1 the thread name was updated like the whole update had come out.

Keep in mind that many scenes will have slightly different dialogue based on previous choices being different. So although a scene might be familiar to you, the dialogue is different and Renpy will not skip it because something is "unseen." If you really don't care about the dialogue tweaks then I would suggest pressing Tab to get to move through all the stuff you have seen until Renpy pauses then manually click a couple of times before pressing Tab again.

If you've only had a single previous playthrough then you'll have a lot of dialogue pauses.

You're welcome. I will say this, if you're only in it for the sex scenes, just go ahead and unlock the gallery (from the gallery menu) and watch things there. There isn't much of a reason to play through the game again if you don't read all of the differences in dialogue.

I don't even want revenge or hate sex. I like Gilliian and her character a lot. I want more of her and redemption. To me its the biggest shame she entered the game so late, I wish she entered around the same time as Axel, give her more buildup, content, and so forth. This is probably one of my few disappointments in this game.
