It's been a long time but hello to everyone again. During the early summer, when we collectively realized chapter 14 wouldn't come out for several months, I took a break from F95 (since this is the only game conversation I actively follow here) and didn't exactly forget about ORS, just didn't check on it until earlier this month.
I took my time playing through the new chapter, which I enjoyed. I remember thinking, with the beach house update, that I had wanted more conversations between characters and not just dialogue setting up sex scenes (which Eva did add more of in the beta and final versions) but here I was pleased with the pacing, conversations, a couple of the new characters (Zarina & Anthony specifically), and many opportunities for naughtiness in my playthrough where Lena is not with Ian or Holly. The Lena/Mike story moves forward in various interesting ways depending on playthrough, Billy's new project seems useful for story & sex scene development before it crashes and burns, Ivy continues to show herself as completely self-centered, and it was a pleasant surprise to see Jess as a guest in the chapter - her dialogues with Lena were especially good (in both versions of Jess we can have). Zarina's interactions with Lena as well.
No one needs to summarize the past several hundred pages, but I'm curious if in general most people have liked the chapter so far, are looking forward to day 3 of the event, are people interested in the new characters, amused at how Eva is setting up pregnancy possibilities, etc. Anyone else wondering if this update signals a potential break coming in Lena & Ivy's friendship? Between the tattoo episode, Zarina's observations to Lena, and Ivy really stepping up pressure for Lena at multiple points to basically boss her around, in and out of the bedroom, that's probably the story thread I'm most interested in. The version of Holly who gets sucked into Ivy's influence doesn't have the assertiveness and self-confidence to steer clear; it's Lena who either protects her from Ivy's advances or encourages her (or it's Ian closing that possibility if he's dating her). But Lena can push back on Ivy for herself, or give in more and more, and has a lot of opportunities for both in this chapter. I do wonder if that will be significant down the road.
