Cheer Mike yep. Gillian path is interesting because it seems it can go in multiple different ways. If Ian imagines her with other men and acts all clingy (messaging her on instagram) it seems to me that it sets him for a loser cuck route and nothing good will come out of that. But he can also be played as still pining for her while not doing those things, and that may be an opening for a chad "revenge" route or a more traditional romance with a happy ending even. It also depends on how much Gillian is supposed to parallel Axel I think, because it's clear nothing good will come out of it for a Lena who returns to him.
It seems to me the relationship will be more or less railroaded based on the decisions both made in chapter 12, which is why I'm not very optimistic about a Lena POV crisis chapter, but we'll see. That's why I wish I was able to see Lena go through what Ian did, and be able to choose in what manner to proceed from this. Auto break up no matter what if Ian tells the truth about Cindy is lame as hell. Breaking up is a valid reaction, but I should be able to choose forgiveness or even being a total simp and going the "ignorance is bliss" route Ian can take. Ironically, the clingiest version of Lena right now is the punished repentant cheater Lena.
