It's a missed opportunity to add some choice/results gameplay because there are a lot of opportunities for Lena to present herself as a threat to Ivy at the pool party, but even if you play it cool like you're just there to support a friend and not steal the spotlight, Ivy will still betray your trust.

As the scene stands now I think it's a real mask off moment for Ivy that negatively contextualizes all the other moves she's made previously, such as bailing the photo shoot with Axel. It solidifies her as a villain and the other characters are right to warn Lena about her.

Or the fact that Ivy doesn't stop Ian with his flirting (if you met her in the gym and respond to her stories on her social) and flirt back to him without hesitation, even if Lena is a good friend with her. When that happened the first time while I was testing other routes, I was genuinely surprised. I thought.. I think with Ian it's plausible Ivy was primarily fishing for a new subscriber. Despite being depicted as a hoe, the only dudes she's confirmed to have slept with (that I know of) are Mike and Billy; both of whom she stands to gain something professionally. Note how she hasn't slept with Jeremy despite his persistence.

If Ivy was testing Ian's faithfulness I'm wondering if it's only to use him as a weapon against Lena similarly to how she used Jeremy against Louise. Either blackmailing Ian for money or a favor or to attack Lena during a competitive moment in their professional careers. All things considered, the main principle is that most of the time, if Ian does not fully commit to a girl, she will fool around. I mean it is not an absolute rule (it is one in Alison's case thu) but this is a strong trend overall.

If you don't fully commit to Cindy, she will fuck Axel full stop.

If you don't fully commit to Lena, she can still fuck no-one but get more options to do so.

If you don't fully commit to Holly, she can still fuck no-one but have many options to become the ultimate whore.

If you don't fully commit to Cherry, there is a strong option to move towards Perry, same for Emma.

If you don't fully commit to Alison, she will definitely fuck Jeremy, this is cannon.

I guess the only exception is Minerva.

Alison is (sexually) frustrated and already in a mid-life crisis.

- She lost her job because her old boss screwed up and she feels overqualified in her shitty new one that pays shit.

- She broke up with her boyfriend, something that isn't elaborated on, but going from the one scene when he confronted Ian and Jeremy, he seems to be a deadbeat and Alison was wise enough to end the relationship before she got dragged down even further. Though maybe he wasn't as bad before the breakup and maybe she also shares some blame in it, we only see him on one scene that plays him off like a joke character.

- She is forced to move in her parents place, so she is even more dependent and is likely constantly berated by them.

- Her friends are married and have kids, further putting her under pressure.


As a result, she makes a move on Ian and Jeremy, two young, single, physically attractive (Jeremy haters seethe) guys and once one of them responds, she fucks them as an outlet.

With Jeremy, its purely casual, since Jeremy is no husband material and just a good fuck (Jeremy haters seethe). Their fucking sort of escalates in bimboficating herself by participating in threesomes, bleaching her hair and getting piercings.

Alison may be an overachiever or just think to highly of herself, but at the beginning of the game she is frustrated in more than one way. Finally out of a relationship with a guy which raises too many red flags in the single interaction that we had with him, doing a job in which she feels overqualified and maybe underappreciated, and forced to move back with her parents, plus finding herself not married and without children in her late twenties which is hit to her ego (not completely sure about this part, IIRC she is 26 or 27 which is not old but is the age when your peers from highschool start to have children of their own)

She was one of the LI that I was more curious when I found this game. But I didn't click with her love path with Ian, she feels too possessive too fast, and more interested in pushing her own agenda onto him than living out her long awaited crush. The bimbofication is slightly better, I can justify the change as course correction in her life to try things different, and I can see a relationship working on the long run with a chad Ian or a more charismatic Ian but personally I don't like her as blonde
