I think the problem here is that Lena isn't necessarily nothing but an artful, nerdy girl on all her paths. Her songwriting as serious aspirations are just an option (you can define Lena as having many potential goals in life, and songwriting will only really be mentioned down the road if you make it explicit focus) And if you give her Lust background, Lena's aspirations, life path and values turn much more Ivy-like.
To be honest, i also don't really buy this apparent supposed mutual exclusivity of "nerdy girl with interest in artful things can't possibly so openly lust for cock, it's totally not in her character" because, just look around you. There's tons of nerds right here, some with artful aspirations, who are spending their time on what's bordering on obsession with wank material. And some of them are women, too. So i don't think there's really anything in the game that would explicitly oppose the idea that Lena could also be this sort of a multi-faceted person. That she can't possibly be, i don't believe this to be anything more than personal headcanon..?
Ok, two things:
1. Your "Her songwriting as serious aspirations are just an option" is wrong, which means I have now managed to catch you offguard for the second time. Before the meeting with Holly and possibly Ian, her passion for sonwriting IS canon, she insists on it talking to Lola. "not serving coffee or modelling, but writing and playing songs, this is what I really want, you know that Lola right ?" (out of memory). Then, indeed, at Ian's date you have the option "it used to be", but not because she is not interested anymore, but because she fears it is unrealistic. And then, yes, there is the date with Holly, and then you get the option to change the focus, and my point is
exactly that: I already find this diversification to be poorly written. The lust option "right now I focus on modelling" is poor, the charisma option of "enjoying life in different ways" us even poorer.
What's even poorer, worse, inconsistent, is that then Holly reminds her that she talked about her passion for songwriting, Lena replies "oh it is just a hobby", while a couple of days before she was telling Lola how songwriting her only passion. = inconsistent and poor.
2. I do not know why I do not manage to make myself understood, so I have no other choice but to repeat myself:
Again, I insist I have no problem with Lena having a lust for cock. My problem is how EK writes this lust for cock. I know I repeat myself but it seems I have to: my problem is not the existence of a slut path, it is the poor writing on this slut path.
As I've written before, actually the slut path was my main playthrough until Chapter 9. But then, at Chapter 10 I surprised myself skipping dialogues and even skipping lewd scenes: = I was bored. This boredom has never left me on the slut path since then.
That's when I discovered the romance path, and realized it was much better written.
I insist: it is not the lust for cock that I dislike, it is the poor writing.
