Any Ian really. If he found out there never was a boyfriend he got left for it would mean Gillian lied when they broke up, which would be messed up even if he's not hung up over her anymore.
Eh, I don't think Ian who has moved on would care all that much. The way he conducts himself when you choose all the options to move on is admirable, really.

Well it's not that I think it'll destroy him or anything, necessarily, but I imagine it might cause a small surge of bitterness over having endured the thought of having been left for someone else for all those years.

As a man with quite - just quite - a bit of confidence, nevertheless the average - just average - pack of male insecurities, I'd say the exact opposite.

The fact that Gillian would rather lie, but actually there was no other guy he was cheated on with, would be not just a slight but a huuuuuuuuuge relief.

Oh yeah it means she sooo wanted to break with him she lied, ok fine....... but at least he's not cucked as he thought.

Life changes, the universe is altered for the very best.

Never underestimate the ego, narcissism and insecurities of a man. They are all always bigger than a woman's estimation.

Why? What is the difference between a lying cunt and a cheating cunt?
A cunt is a cunt.
If he really got over her, what difference would it make?

I am playing this game for the very first time, and I am currently in Chapter 4. The game is truly enjoyable, and its story keeps me deeply engaged. However, I do have a few questions about certain plot points, and I would be grateful if someone could answer them without revealing any spoilers,

1. Do Lena and Ed, the owner of the café, eventually develop any kind of sexual relationship,

2. Does Lena’s storyline ever progress in a meaningful way with her ex boyfriend,

3. Is there a future storyline involving Ian and Cindy, because I really enjoy their chemistry, and at this point Cindy is my favourite character alongside Ian, Lena, Ed, and Stan,

4. Lola the cat fascinates me for some reason, I cannot shake the feeling that this black cat will play some role in the story later on,

5. Does the game introduce any pregnancy related plotlines at any point,

Thank you Eva for creating such a beautiful game, I think I first experienced GGGB back in 2019, and for that time it felt like a completely unique kind of visual novel, I truly loved your work, and your style of storytelling is remarkable,

Dunno, a girl leaving me for a guy who has more to offer is a bummer, but rationally understandable. She could've had a relationship with me, she just had better options.

A girl just leaving me and staying single means she has problems with me and can't maintain a relationship with me. She rather wants no one than me. That's more of a blow.

It's not really a question of which is worse though but having lived a lie. In a way, you'd be suffering both conditions and not either or.

They do not.

Depends on what you mean by meaningful and also on your choices.
3. Is there a future storyline involving Ian and Cindy, because I really enjoy their chemistry, and at this point Cindy is my favourite character alongside Ian, Lena, Ed, and Stan,
There is.
4. Lola the cat fascinates me for some reason, I cannot shake the feeling that this black cat will play some role in the story later on,
Is that a question?
5. Does the game introduce any pregnancy related plotlines at any point,
Kind of. It at least uses creampies and pregnancy risk as an element. The game is still in development on that front.

Only a looser would dwell on stuff like that.
Dunno if it was stated how long Ian and Gillian were together, but allegedly it was a long, serious and healthy relationship that Ian put quite a lot of emotional investment in. Ian getting depressed and scarred by it is natural, he isn't heartless and just goes immediately for the next girl.

1. No, at least not currently. If anyone has any dev insights, they can tell if this is planned at some point or not.

2. Can't answer, screw that guy, didn't follow his storyline even for completion points. But you can reconnect with him, yes.

3. Depending on your choices you can interact with Cindy more, yes.

4. Try taking some hard drugs as Ian at one point, you'll get more insight into what the cat represents.

5. Only some hints at possibilities in chapters that aren't yet released, only for Lena for now.

Do you guys think by chance Mercedes could be Gillian's Asian friend? Or she is just a cameo character like Eli?
