Same, well for me it was the living room. But if I go right back to friend and try again, I get teleported to a different location at home (and the park). If I keep trying I rotate through all the locations at home (and the park) before starting over again.
That was on version 0.75 + hotfix

No there is not suppose to be a lot of dark. Thanks for letting me know.
Download - Extract in Game folder - when prompted please accept to overwrite. This will fix the Black Screen and you will see the animations, which should have been there

is the update really that empty or did I just expect too much scenes with mom and mall,1 date with dad nothing with the brother corruption went up to lvl 2 that’s all and there’s a guy who comes to the place we work at the update lasted like 15–20 minutes
