I think this game seriously needs a 'no sexual content' tag at the current state. Hell even 'no sexual content' tagged games has kissings, makeouts and 'active romance' going on. This game has nearly none of this. You almost don't even kiss the girls even tho 15 chapters passed. There is only 2 scene that's sexual and one of them is borderline r... and the other one is a dream. If you remove those 2 scene and couple of images, it's not even an adult game tbh. Also before you say 'this is a story focused game not a quick fap game', I get it. I love that kind of slow burn games. I like 'romance' a lot. But I would at least expect some kisses, confessions, dates... even if there is no sex or anything like that. The game is tagged as harem for the love of god. Lessons in Love is somehow similar to this game (although I can admit much better in quality wise currently) it's heavily story focused game as well. But lessons in love also has plenty of romance and sexual content in it as well. I hope this game will reach at that balanced stage about the content at some point. I just want to see some romantic actions between the girls and CJ that's all

don’t worry, Vol. 2 is where the other girls routes really start and you’ll have the first opportunity for h-scenes.
The game definitely shouldn’t feel complete, since we’re only on chapter 15 out of 100.

If you want a little preview of the first h-scene, go back one or two pages in this thread. I posted the initial scene layout for how that’s going to go down.

I totally get the no sexual content tag, it’s been a struggle since f95 says to tag for the “Complete” game. But rest assured that won’t be a problem for much longer.

that being said Im actually putting in an optional, honest to God mutual lovey dubby kiss into the end of chapter 7 that you can unlock with Victoria.

Yeah I deleted my comment after I played it. I think most of the things you said are correct except that the part CJ will be the only one having sex. As I read the dev confirmed that the girls will have sex eachother and will be in love with each other. It seems the game is not ' love interests are exclusive to mc' harem game. I don't really like this much since I like when all the love interests only in love with mc in harem games. I don't mind girls in the harem fooling around with each other. But if a love interest is in love with another character ( even that character is part of the harem) other than mc is a turn off for me. But everybody has different tastes I guess

yeah I completely get it with Vic, the biggest reason why it’s 100% tension with her in Vol. 1 is really due to two things:

1) I wanted you to be able to start any of the girls side routes/romances at the same time.
While Vic route could have started as early as Ch3 (theyre alone in a room together for hours ffs) I didn’t want this game to feel like “Vic and her side girls”, especially with how important some other girls are (Like Sarah and Jamie). So I wanted there to be an opportunity for the other girls to shine a bit without having to necessarily compete with Vics giant boobies in h-scenes.


2)Another part of it was the series transitioning from a comic to a KN (when I wrote Ch9) to a VN (when I went nuts with Ch15, I haven’t even implemented the biggest gameplay segment of Ch15 yet). Originally there just weren’t any choices at all due to the format, so choosing exactly when each girls got romanced was a big deal.

Ch15 had the first multiple choice question menu in the entire game originally, which is why I’m spending so much time going back and redoing Vol. 1 to be at a similar standard.
Now that everything is being designed for a VN from the ground up, this is much easier and I can throw the reins to the player with how/who they want to romance.

As of right now, there are two planned avenues for romantic events:

A) romantic events tied to the main story that unlock if your relationship meter (or whatever) is at a certain threshold. At that stage you basically get a yes/no option whether you want to do it or not. Victorias kiss in ch7 will be exactly like this


and

B) side romance events/routes. These also unlock as your relationship develops with a girl but they’re way more down to earth and normal than the main plot events. Day to day lovey dubby stuff, dates, hangouts, etc. These will be available in the main map hub and will be treated like side stories you can go do any time after you unlock them...or not. Totally up to you. They will give more relationship status and will probably be required if you want to max out a girls love meter, but they’re ultimately optional.

the reason I’m calling these side stories rather than the girls route is that really, each girls route is part of the main story already.

Just due to the nature of the story, I don’t think you as CJ can fuck up any relationship and lock yourself out of any girls romance, though you can miss those main plot romance events if your relationship isn’t high enough at that point in the story.

Unlike other games, there’s nothing but reward for going full harem. If anything, it’s the true route and will unlock important stuff way later down the line.

I'll most likely go full harem since I like all the girls so far, but I don't understand this one. if we don't like a girl and don't want to romance her, we will be on the alternate route and we won't get true ending? Will we get alternate ending or something?

nothing’s set in stone but Post credits stuff and when more gameplay finally arrives, advancing each girls relationship will improve both her and CJs stats and abilities.

It seems I jumped to the gun way too early When the lovey dubby stuff comes and h-scenes will be added into this amazingly written story and characters, I think game will be only better and better. I really have high hopes for this game now that you explained many things I was worried about crystal clear. I also really like how you communicate with the community unlike some other devs. Keep up the good work!

Just played all of 0.9.3. This was maybe the most entertaining game I've found on this site. The enjoyable dialogue with a well written, yet crazy story are super intriguing. Also the music cues have been perfect for me. Sexy sax coming in at the best times and the over-the-top hero music thrown in for both humor and badass entrances really makes this game. Keep up the good work OP. I look forward to future chapters.
