You can't rename CJ as it'd ruin several of the best moments in the game. Can we rename CJ and is there/will there be pregnant sex?
Theres also the fact that it syncs up perfectly with the song "Still Life" that was used in the soundtrack. The forethought and foreshadowing is very well done. You can't rename CJ as it'd ruin several of the best moments in the game.
Take it as a book, the few options at the beginning are just so you can skip (miss would be more accurate, but let's say skip) some scenes, but romances will happen no matter what you choose, and at some point the options about whether you want to romance someone or not will disappear entirely.Does the player have any choice in who the mc romances?
Cause I really dislike Victoria thus far and would like to know if I should just ignore these feelings and take it as a book I'm reading or not.
Yeah, quite a few people are meh to downright unlikable at the beginning of the story. Most if not all will grow on you. Leah being my worst to first girl fits this mold to a T.Does the player have any choice in who the mc romances?

To be able to read the story so far in one go and remembering everything without replaying...I managed to catch up, and yeah, kind of pointless to even like/dislike anyone in most of the early arcs.
That being said, my top characters haven't really changed from the start: Mizue, the fox, Kieran and Sarah. Which I guess makes it only two top characters.
My most disliked are Victoria and Leah (not that I hate them, mind you). Although I do have to grant that Leah at least is willing to actually kill people (which I think this game severely lacks - although I suppose that's one of the points). I also have had a lot of problems with the fatalistic turns throughout, but that also becomes pointless when the entire story is about fatalism - won't be a problem in a replay I guess.
Overall, yep, thanks to everyone that just told me to keep playing. Even though there are quite a few lows to me, the numbers of highs was amazing. Well done indeed.
Wdym? the games already got recaps at the end of each Volume. To be able to read the story so far in one go and remembering everything without replaying...
I just rudimentarely remember what happened in the second last update and the story became quit foggy for me.
I really hope we get a recap feature some day.
What do you count/what is seen, as a volume?Wdym? the games already got recaps at the end of each Volume.![]()

I think you may have missed the joke. What do you count/what is seen, as a volume?
What i'd like would be something aking to the gallery, just, as recaps.
Yeah that "Making fun of Lil" part i remember and it was funny. Espacially if you know that Oot and Lil once had some cross promotion thing going on.I can recap kind of:

In all seriousness though, I think the story is kind of simple if you take out the revelation arcs.

Also, the third recap is totally based on the Lessons in Love intro to the point where I kept wondering if people unfamiliar with it would even understand it(I personally enjoyed more the hardboiled one).

I also remember the rough corners of Oot's story but some details are missing and i need clarification.
Like, i can't really remember all of Ashley's relatives, what their story was "exactly".
I kinda confuse them even with the new girls that Hayato (what was his name?) introduced recently.
To my defense, it wasn't that obvious that it was meant as a joke.I think you may have missed the joke.
Theres literal recaps in the game, but they're entirely comedic and dont catch you up on the story at all. One of them is a noir crime investigation, for example.
iirc the deal with cro was thatYeah that "Making fun of Lil" part i remember and it was funny. Espacially if you know that Oot and Lil once had some cross promotion thing going on.

Another example (though a bit more entangled) is how Cro and Sarah had this talk in their dreamworld and Cro was like:
"CJ made us(?), im his left your his right hand..." whatever, but Cro never mentioned that Sarah was a part of her.
It got very confusing.
So, "Recap Feature".
I'm surprised you understood so much in a single playthrough. People usually come here asking for explanations after certain arcs, especially Teresa's and the last one, since many had a hard time understanding Cro's situation. It is usually necessary to replay the arcs to understand most things, since most of the information needed to understand the beginning of the arc is provided at the end of it (or in another arc).iirc the deal with cro was that
But we definitely need more explanations on that front. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Coming from the LiL thread, Oot is pretty straightforward. Although I do have lots of questions obviously, I think I get the general gist of things.I'm surprised you understood so much in a single playthrough.
