Hi.
I'm having an issue with the game on Android. In Chapter 15, when Cro'Deargh ripost against Sarah, the animation suddenly freeze, and while the music still is playing, there is nothing I can do. Reloading previous saves, properly exiting the game, trying to skip ahead did nothing.

I've also browsed the last 3 pages of messages and it yielded no result, so I believe either it's new, or it's an issue on my part.

I'll try a reinstall, but still leaving this here, just in case it's not a me issue.

Edit : I went to the discord while redownloading, and this exact issue has already been addressed. The issue is... Potato phone. Leaving it here in case someone else browse the forum in the future looking for this exact issue

Is that the latest version of the game? Because if animations loaded in earlier chapters then they should also load in chapter 15, they are encoded using very similar settings. And if there are no animations in early chapters then you're on outdated version. The most up to date version should have better performance on phones because it uses AOT runtime (il2cpp) instead of JIT (mono).

I don't really understand what CJ's role is in the fights, I'm already on chapter 30 and I still don't understand, in my opinion he just stands there watching the battle unfold.

He is basically a power source, he stands there and gives power to the girls during the fights or focus it on one specifically when needed. He is also the one who summons them.

He is (apparently so far) like a battery, he has kinda unlimited power/mana/whateveryouwanttocallit which people bonded to him can use to activate/use/enhance their abilitys.

I understand that this makes the story more interesting, but it's a shame I wanted to see CHAD JOHNSON THUNDERCOCK JUNIOR's power in a more offensive way.

That maybe still happens, its not like cj figured everything out already and at least the "version of him" in the prologue is actively fighting himself

wtf man...these last 2 updates complicated things even more than greatly complicated they were....i'm loosing my mind trying to understand now...a pity but i think that story would be benefit to be a BIT more clear...damn

I can't really argue. This arc has been very esoteric, and borderline delirium. I'm not one to denigrate lore building, but themes and allusions weren't my strong point in western lit. I've enjoyed the heck out of this story since I found it, and have been a subscriber since before the Onsen arc, all that to say I am fully completely invested. I'm not tagging out anytime soon. The Theresa arc was hard to follow in snippets as well, so maybe once this arc finalizes and we can see it all together the pieces will click in.

I mean, the game kinda has the "psychedelic" tag so the arcs being very "esoteric" is pretty normal and should be expected
