For me this game is a novel with a good story in the first place. Yes i like the sex scenes in the game and they are a part of the game. But they are not the main driving factor. The story plot of this game is not "And then they smashed".

I mean if people just want to have Koikatsu sex scenes it is very easy to get Koikatsu through this forum here and play endless loops of sex scenes with thousands of character cards.

But in the end it gets boring. Yeah Koikatsu is made for porn. Or Honeyselect 2 . But this game proves it can be used for so much more.

The "plot" in porn games is often used as a meme. But in this game the plot IS the game. And the story is damn good.

I’m almost positive my h-scenes end up with a comparable time (if not greater) because there’s dialogue that actually matters and isn’t just sex gargling.

But again, go tell Caribdis to take the sex out of his games because it falls under your definition of superfluous as much as mine do.

This game IMO has one of the best uses of sex driving the story forward of any adult/porn game, with writing and characters that can back it up, all topped off by stupid high production values. While its story isn't the most interesting to me (the 2 highest rated games SLIGHTLY beating it out for me) it is the one I am by far most excited to see where and how it will end.

Also this is the only game with a direct death grips reference so it is by far the best and will never be topped

Something to note is that, considering how long it's going to be before this game ends, each and every update so far has been satisfying and full of character.

I expect the story to get more interesting over time - if I have a complaint it's just based on the nature of the release schedule and how I think SA said he structured the story, where I'm looking forward to seeing a focus on some of the other characters. But I figure that'll come with time, so it's not a huge deal.

Hi, I am having a bit of a problem with this game. I have discovered this game a week back and did not have time to try it but it seems like a perfect game, but upon launch I am encountering a bad image quality in game, plus setting keeps getting reverted. I am using a 2560x1440p and for example: the 3rd image on this site is sharp and in game at the beginning I have it really blurred. I presume it is a resolution problem, but I lack any advanced knowledge about fixing it. So... Any workarounds please ? Also, I apologize in advance if it was already mentioned on this site.

Earlier chapters of the game used a different encoding for the images, so they looked worse. Also, yes, Snow is still working on some of the engine stuff, so stuff like "settings" dont really save.
the game images are in 720p so maybe you get a bad image if you are triying to play on fullscreen.
Can you share a screenshot of how it looks for you just in case?

Yeah, that's the normal image quality before the new enconding. Bear with it, please. XD it will end soon.
Anon is sleeping at the moment so i cant exactly ask what chapter.. but i think around chapter 8 should look better, and after ch15 there should not be any sharp edges at all.

With about 20,000 renders in the IMAGES~ in the current build, the game is over 5gb already. If we bumped it up to just 1080p, the game would be well above 10gb (imagine how big 4K would be…) and we’re only 1/3rd of the way through the game.
We might do a higher resolution patron version in the future but for the moment we’re sticking with 720.

Don't worry, it's not like I won't bear with it, I just wanted to know the reason and you answered it as thoroughly as possible. And quite this opposite, most games I have played were similar (meaning first chapters, versions had lesser quality, but it gradually went up), but that as I said doesn't at all mean the quality of that particular game, I think you can agree with me on that. It's the story, humor, characters that makes game good, at least in my opinion, so once more, I'll jump right into it and enjoy it, because this game looks promising from reviews, and thanks a lot one last time for your time.
