Can confirm, my bet is again people aren't using Japanese Language pack or Locale.
Maybe all japanese games should have a message that they might not work without it.

Can't launch the game either, I've tried deleting appdata\LocalLow\GapGapKoBo so I could reselect Japanese version but that doesn't fix anything, the OK button remains broken

I have this issue a lot in Unity, and it has nothing to do with extraction.
Most people in here understand how zipped folders work. lol
But, I have yet to figure out why it happens or how to fix it. I usually just suck it up and play from the beginning, without the full save.
