Is this game a kinetic novel or something of the sort? Trying to find dating sim games and sandbox games. (Game looks to good to not ask)

It is a Visual novel, but you do make choices which impact the story and the scenes you see, so no, it isn't a kinetic novel.
There's a few free roam segments in the game but they are not many. The game is even better than it looks, give it a go, chances are you'll probably like it.

Does anyone know what to expect from the next update?

For example, in the last ones we had the Hana update which was the meeting with her
We had the Felicia update which was also a meeting scheduled in previous updates

Now this ch4 up5, apart from the "joke" with Kathleen, the rest of the update remains an unknown for me

Rosalind should have the spotlight this update, other than that we'll have some club shenanigans and one of the house girls might get a scene too, we also know the update will end around friday night and there will be one big group scene with multiple characters interacting with each other.

I wouldn't get my hopes up too much, doubt putting Edwin's Ex back in the picture would help the story in any way shape or form but then again I'm not the writer her so what do I know.

Honestly as far as the Mallow (I think this was her name) and Edwin previous relationship goes, the only thing I'm curious about is how it ended, especially if it was because of something like her catching Edwin in the middle of one of his "therapy" sessions with his mother previous "work".

I have to wonder. The summer exhibition threatened to have some really twisted stuff in store. And given where it started, with what Veronica was forced to do in her punishment, I believe it. How far is it going to go?

Since these are all warped, rich assholes who get a kick out of seeing women humiliated, used, and degraded sexually, is there bestiality in the exhibition's future? I just...I can't help but imagine "The Worst Thing" for the finale of the exhibition, where there's a challenge where the girls have to let themselves be fucked by a dog or a horse or something. Like others have said you gotta skate some pretty fine lines on pateron iirc most beast stuff is either not on there, small enough to avoid detection, or uses the classic "unaffiliated" patch. However Im a firm believer that this shows going to get pretty fucked at least during felicas part.... Kathleen knows that she cant beat felica into being a "whore" like vero and rose as is shown by her lasting the entire time on the vibrating thing during the last show, we know that kathleen is having a club member buy a piece of artwork that is very emotionally important to felicia.... combined with the fact that we still (iirc) havent gotten a check for the felica confidence variable I would not be suprised if felica has a "make it or break it" (so long as the overall storyline is maintained) type moments....

also her husband is there but IMO theres no drama or supsesne there as soon as he can tell its his obviously hot ass wife the jig is up and he is removed as something contributing to the idea of "hell week" which speaking of how do you think that will manifest? just devil coustumes? will vero have to sit in a tank full of spiders? what about rose? The name "hell week" combined with the lack of hints weve been given so far and the idea of a narrative needing to get progressivley "more" has me super worried about this week even if no animals are invovled

Felicia specifically mentions the last week(?) being similar to how she was hazed in college doesn't she? as far as it being a sybian on stage so "college hazing" while fitting the name perfectly doesnt sound like it would go far enough for kathleen, imo it also doesnt explain why kathleen needed to jump through hoops for the painting ie sending someone to convince the club guy to buy the painting instead of convincing him herself, or just outright buying it herself....honestly im glad the artist seems so shy/reserved otherwise i could see kathleen convincing her to hand deliver it to the club during the show
