As for Kat, what makes her such a great villain is that she's in the club for love of the game. She can't be reasoned or baragined with like August and Chuck can. To those two, depravity is a means to an end, to her depravity IS the end. The fact that she's working with Abel behind August's back shows she doesn't really care about the club beyond her games.

I have to agree the Sophia being the mommy is a pretty far out there take. Rose is the best mom type for Edwin, the one love interest that closely resembles Edwin’s goddess of a mom the closest.

As we discussed before, Sophia is the amoral eccentric type. While it is likely that Sophia would sleep with men at Abel´s command, this is not quite sure! It was never revealed how the special gangbang came to be. It could be on command, but also a selftest by Sophia. As for when Abel proposed Sophia to Chuck, this was a no risk thing. Abel and Sophia know that Chuck has a near pathological need to win first, before he can enjoy his depravities. It was a sure thing that Chuck would decline. No risk for Sophia there.

While the focused personality makes wooing her a bit different in how you do it, her loyality to Abel is less of a problem than you think in this case. Abel has a soft spot for our MC. Not only did he try to convince Edwin at first opportunity to go into medical research instead of general practice, he also personally home invaded his flat to warn him. While it might be part of a larger plan, the warning and promised help (can call Sophia in the case something goes haywire) was something Abel did not have to do in person. But he chose so.
I truly doubt Abel would be a road block if Sophia and Edwin would hit it off towards a relationship.

Sophia surely can be dangerous if she needs to be, I am certain of this. But the various glimpses of her we can see show that "just because she can" does not fit her. Some smaller indulgences, yes, but nothing really big. Sophia is too calculating and eccentric for it.

I also found that scene strange earlier in the game. I even didn't recognise her until other thread frequenters had pointed out that that was her.
I think she is the most mysterious figure in the game so far. May be more than Abel himself.

Hana is the best match for any man, so is Mina and Felicia (unless you're a prude or puritain).
V is the best match for any girl, tho.

Hana would definitely be my second choice, but for me Mina would be the first, her sweetness is addictive and I think that of all the LI's she is the one who has had a great connection with Edwin's wishes, and perhaps Mina can cure his corrupted soul and stop being so cynical, but this is optional, maybe he is the one who corrupts our emerald-eyed blonde.

Felicia is also very good, she would take Hana's place by a very small margin, with veronica I would rather she had her own history flirting with women, she is very wasted being just a LI in the story.

As for Sophia we hardly know her, she's practically a femme Fatale who would kill us for going against the shady plans of her bosses, I personally would be careful around her.

Hey, man, this is not a typical waifu romance game. I don't think anyone, Carnation or not, is safe from what these wonderful perv devs can do to them. Judging by the three owners of the club and their as bad associates, the coup undercurrents, some of the more awful staff and guests, shit can get real. Why you wouldn't think the sexual decadence of the past exhibitions wouldn't recur or be exceeded seems an almost delusional daydream. They have to give their guests a show, or why would they still keep coming? Spectacles only get more so. This is definitely not a game for someone that can't deal with extreme shit happening to LIs.

Probably because there are new variables in the equation this time: Kathleen, who is ready for a major loss, Abel Van Doren and his hints that something might happen at the club, as well as the fact that Edwin might use his "harmlessness" (how others see him) for his own purposes, Elias's appearance at the next exhibition and perhaps most importantly - Edwin's very presence this time.

Personally, I am not under any illusion that this time everything might go differently than in previous shows. But at the same time, thinking that everything will definitely repeat itself is also stupid. I think many people want current summer exhibition to develop in the same old footsteps and that is normal. It's not normal to think only that our actions can't somehow influence this. The development of events can go in different ways depending on our actions.

In any case, whatever happens in the game, I will accept it and won't turn into another troll who creates dozens of new accounts and spills his nonsense on the forum This is the creation of TD and GIL, they have the right to do what they want and I won't stop respecting them, although I don't exclude the possibility that I may be disappointed. I agree with both of you here. I stand by the claim that there is nothing in the game or in any TD post that I have seen thus far that suggests a free-use scenario will definitely happen again. But I agree that you'd have to be a fool not to acknowledge that it could. It's pretty darn clear that nothing is off the table for exhibitions.

So... Just an update on my progress...

A few weeks back, my laptop died. The one that got me through F95 since I got here? Yeah... That one. Died. Kaput. No chance to come back. Mammoth graveyard in the sky...

And that was all of my Pale Carnation data, right there. So I have a choice to make... Start over with no sanity left from the beginning or make the hard drive into an external with PC data as I learn how to create an external and split that laptop into parts. I could only whack it so many times...

So as of now, I'm at the beginning, not 4 Up 3...

I honestly don't know what to expect, buuuut... we know for sure that:

- the Carnations' exhibition is set to be more and more 'challenging' for the Carnations - exhibition 2 was more challenging than exhibition 1 and this upcoming 3rd night will be more 'difficult' for the ladies - and for Edwin, I guess - than the 2nd one;

- every week has a 'theme', therefore we might want to check back at what the Old Bitch (Kath) said on monday morning when she met Edwin and the Carnations - don't ask me: I don't remember!

So, just remember what week 3 was about and start wondering!

What is the reason that scene is played? I have only chosen to "Date" or go out with one of the three carnations, however I am flirting with both Hana and the blonde one. I have chosen strongman, wealth and the voyeur traits. What is the explicit reason for that scene where you get drugged pops up? Is it true to choices, amount of points/affection you have with certain characters or something else?

Okay, finally got the time to start it. Tonight is the night.

You guys might think I quit because I went silent but I was actually banned for replying to the troll lol.
That goblet scene was disgusting man but I pushed through.
Kudos to the writer though for the aftermath. Veronica choosing Kathleen was a brilliant choice. It both lessened her humiliation and made for an unexpected and, might I say, funny scene.
The characters have only been getting better since then. I was a little averted to Felicia at first but she's growing on me hard.
For now I think I'll be trying to help Rose win the thing since her matter seems the most pressing and dangerous.
Now please don't spoil anything big. I'm just the type that likes to share my thoughts while playing.

Eh, just extract the drive, hook it up to your current computer and transfer the data. Unless the hard-drive was burned the data should be recoverable.
