It all depends on whether this update is split into 2 parts. The previous dev diary said that they are close to an cliffhanger.

I think a decision will be made in the next dev diary, which will be out in a few days. At the very least, in the dev diary after that.

If the update is not split, we can expect several more months of development. The main thing is that TD and GIL make the choice that they themselves believe is right. Personally, I don't care, because both options have their pros and cons.

I would consider discussing update schedules and technical problems with the game and its mods, and otherwise just shutting up, a very reasonable alternative. A game's forum doesn't have to accrete 4000 posts per year just because it's popular. Without all this noise, the actually important posts would be a lot easier to find, removing the frequency of posts by people frustrated by the search function.
