Is it just me or the truth bomb about the mc's mom just feels underwhelming? It was built up as big deal from the start, but since it was revealed so early, I don't care at this point in the game

I don't know about you, but this is getting more and more exciting. My heart was beating faster and faster as we approached the end of the chapter. Kat and Chuck are totally demented. Get out of there fast, Edwin! Your life depends on it!
Unfortunately, it seems that I can't continue on my path with Mina if I throw her at Veronica, so I had to take a step back at the concert. At first, I thought the friendship between Edwin and Ian was one-sided, but it seems to have become an integral part of the plot that I appreciate, and if that means sleeping with his mother, it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
Personally, I didn't feel the episode was short at all, but I guess everyone perceives it differently. What will be painful is waiting to see what happens next. As for the future for our carnations, it looks increasingly bleak, and there doesn't seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel for any of them, least of all Felicia. I guess I'll have to prepare for the emotional avalanche that's coming.

Yeah, I feel that. I do wish Veronica would dom us a bit more too, maybe a choice.

I disagree. As Edwin said: "No one in this building is at risk of sainthood." but Hana was actually way too soft with Kimber. We're talking about a girl (woman would be too strong of a word for someone as childish and immature as her) who was slacking off and who made problems for other girls. She faked that she had a flu and you can see that she's not too serious about her job when she made demands to Hana. First she said she needs the work and when Hana agreed she said "but not now, I have to meet with my boyfriend", lol. Hana also gave her the choice to walk out and not sell her ass but she practically begged her to do it (as Dalia said she would, it was Dalia's idea to remove Kimber from the schedule).
As for Hana enjoying it, nope, it seemed to me she really disliked that role but Kimberly being a bitch made it much easier for her.
Anyway, Hana is by far the "saintest" person in the club (not that the bar is high but no one comes even close to her, definitely not Edwin even at his best behaviour).

TD1900 & GIL3D , it was a pretty good update. A couple variations and choices about what to do and during scenes like spend time with Hana or Visit someone else, the big group scene has some choices. I am planning on deleting my saves and data and doing full restart for multiple saves in between now and the next update. I do have like two main issues from what I saw from quick playthrough.
- First issue and main issue, what is up with Rose. She is one of my favorite girls and she gets absolutely nothing from what I seen. At least the other two carnations had small interactions at the club, or text, but her nothing. First she doesn't get her own dedicated update pretty much and now she doesn't even get an interaction when the others do. I would love it if you could add some sort of ending interaction with her or small club talk with her, or phone call or something please, I am begging you. I am just tired of argubably my favorite girl to keep getting shafted, while everyone else gets something. I really hope you consider this, even if its at end of the game and you go back. Please.
- Second some scenes likes Sophia and others did feel quick, especially when the new girl gets more and is longer just kind of felt like a let down of sexual interaction when were building so much for Sophia. Maybe we can get something better in the future. Others I am more fine with, but animations still good.
I don't want you to think I hate the update or am bashing, it was still amazing and you two are doing great work, it just hurts to see Rose constantly get no content or very little, forgotten and so forth. I really hope you consider my first suggestion, just any interaction to make her feel like she matters. And for the post carnation ceremony, I hope we also have the opportunity to take her home with us, along with other choices or girls to take home. But like I said great update, just let down by Rose always the forgotten main girl.

Damn I think this is the first update where I feel like I messed up previously since I'm locked out of both the early H scenes. Been playing too non-committal to Hana and Mina so as to keep the presumed harem/thruple option open but...
Question: What has been done in Update 6? Do i miss out a lot if i just skip this update and wait until Chapter 5 starts in a couple of years?

Thank you for the kind feedback. Regarding Rose, please understand the last update featured her prominently (27 animations), it's only natural she would have the least priority during this one. What hurt me most if not having enough time (and opportunity) for Veronica, she's on top of our list right now. But all 3 carnations are getting prime time next update, for better or worse. Oh, btw, if you're a Rose lover you should definitely replay her 1st scene ever in the game (interview with MC). Should take you 5m to skip to it. It has 7 new animations that I'm sure you'll enjoy.
I personally felt pretty satisfied with Sophia's real estate in the update, which not only included a lot of animations but also generous screen time and developments. I'll just say she's probably the most important side girl moving forward, and I'll leave it at that (don't quote me on that tho, I'm not TD). Originally it wasn't even planned to be that intense, but I spent a lot of overtime with her sequence and expanded on it. I really like her too.
Please remember that, as the bottleneck of the project, I'm just a dude working every day of the week for the most part of the day. No vacations, no weekends. Sometimes I spend my free time in the studio because I'm slowly becoming a human chair. This is the most I can output in this time frame at this quality level. If something had been longer, some other thing would be shorter or not there. We do our best juggling characters, opportunities, and scenes that are erotically engaging and make sense.
At any rate, I'm very happy because I feel you guys are giving us very positive feedback. It literally restores my physical well-being knowing people are enjoying what we put out. Feedback is currency, as a friend of mine used to say... that made more sense when we made comics just to get a comment or two back in Hongfire, but it's still true. Thank you everyone.
